You're so fucked
Like, you know for a fact that you're 100% expendable. The economic value of your skills are worthless.

The autistic neets are about to take over the world. Wait there low IQ janny, before you claim that this is off topic, you know as well as I that the rates of autism are exponentially increasing. The demographic is statistically significant.

Those autistic NEETs that you shit on, who play games, and watch YouTube are about 500 years ahead of you in education. They know advanced concepts beyond your comprehension, and now that there disabilities can't hold them back anymore, they're going to outperform you in the market Everytime.

You lazy fat shit heads better buy land before the $ loses it's spending power complete.

That sucks. I wonder when ai will take over my pipefitting job (hint: it won’t)

Indians are AI's biggest champions because their brains already work like that. They think it's a simple superficial matter of reading and regurgitating information. They don't have the part that synthesizes and creates new things.

Indians already see their population has herded cattle, actual first world countries will realize a labor crisis is not worth the trouble and curb shit to make way for more "email jobs"

Ever notice how it’s always CEOs of companies working in AI talking about how it’s going to obsolete all workers? It’s just hype to get investors. It will certainly kill some jobs but the rest will all adapt, worker productivity will continue to go up (and wages will not).

That's actually the issue. We're going through a Industrial Revolution 2.0 where companies will have an unprecedented production output but at the same time everyone live in dire poverty.

The economic value of my skills remain the same as before AI. However, AI is hilariously undervalued. $30 to access chatgpt is too cheap compared to the value it brings professional users. It should cost $3000 a month, if not 4-5x that. Especially if it's outputs are generating profit or income for a company. Like a doctor, for example. If it costs $30 a month to have the chatbot interview and diagnose a patient, then doctor's are toast. But the value is obviously far greater than that. So to answer diagnostic questions, they should charge for that tier of output. Like $70k a month to replace all the doctors in a hospital network would be a fair price. $18k a month for programming outputs, etc. Possibly as much as $700 a month for a basic chatbot that talks to customers. You AI waifu should cost $500 a month. AI cannot just crash the value of the entire service industry, because the operators would be leaving trillions of dollars on the table. Same for art like midjourney outputs, that should cost as much as an art commission. There's zero chance it remains practically free as it is now

It's unfortunately also other CEOs who fall for the "you can replace 70% of your office with AI now!" slop

The true issue is that we have so many jobs that should not be done by people (like fast food, retail, etc) and the jobs that people think we need are entirely superfluous. Entire offices with hundreds of employees playing pretend career. Just killing time all day, doing maybe an hour, total, in a 40+ hour week, of something that could be considered productive work.

I don't think we even need AI to replace them. We just need to stop pretending like we need 500 Karens and Kevins commuting every day to an office building to do data entry that could have been automated away with technology we've had readily available for 30 fucking years.

Why would it go up? There is competition. This is like saying the internet should be expensive because it enables productivity, yet its super cheap
