>Swiss stocks pumping for no reason
So it's not just US equities that get this treatment. Have equity investors just gone mad? How are they shrugging off 39% tariffs?

>>60751100>>60750471I wouldn't expect a 1929 depression, the ingredients are just not there. Internet-bubble, maybe? But we haven't reached the same mania yet. Though there weren't tariffs in 2000, so yeah, that should and will enter the equation.
Either way, we're reaching greed levels and mania only seen in 1929, 00 and 2022 post covid before the bear market.
Maybe something like the 2022 bear market is about to repeat. In a way, covid and post-covid was mostly "artificial", it was all political decisions, it's not like trust in the system evaporated or factories were blown up by artillery. Everything was still intact for a rebound. It's the same today, it's just political decisions. And it's better for it to repeat like 2020/2022, the downturn was managed quite well. You really don't want to enter 00 mania, with the consequences that ensue for a long time. You want to cool off like it's 2022 so we can then reach higher heights sooner rather than later.
fucking hell. this site needs an early/duplicate general thread report option
What even is a Celsius supposed to be?
>It is another "Trump and Putin are gonna speak guys!!" episode for the umpteenth time
>EU Def sector dumps
I'm really tired of this rerun. Can this retarded ass market stop having paper hands.
>>60751163see
>>60751164Everything is at greed and mania levels rarely seen in the last 150 years.
Stripping out Alani's $301 and looking at Celsius alone beating with 428 million in rev is FANTASTIC. Q2 2024 was a tough comp to beat and it shows the PEPSI stocking drama is now behind us.
>>60751168I don't understand why they even create new threats, each post is time stamped so there's no room for confusion.
>>60751173yeah but dax pumped like 2% how will the americans cope with this when their index didn't even hit 1%
>>60751176I'm beginning to get worried. I avoided high PE American stocks so I wouldn't have to care about bubbles and timing the market, but even my positions don't seem safe now. This feels like market euphoria.
The Alani deal has to be one of the best acquisitions by any company in recent memory
>$1.6B cost to aquire
>$301M in first quarter of revenue
so let's go there
let's make our escape
come on, let's go there
let's ask 'can we stay'
I like ASML. The Dutch are an industrious people
>divvy A goes into divvy B
>divvy B goes into divvy A
>but then they both go towards divvy C?
That ones called divvy squared
A divvy of a divvy
>Bank of America, the second biggest U.S. consumer-facing bank, in research notes has described earners of $50,000 or less as "lower income," and more likely to be living paycheck to paycheck. However, Chipotle, with its $10 burritos, has a benchmark of $75,000 or less. Coke has previously said "low-income" is less than $40,000 per year, while P&G did not immediately respond to questions about its definition.
wow in eu these are middle class to high income and even more so after tax
I'm hitting an all time high in premarket, but I invested a thousand dollars in sixty billion times inverse leveraged ETFs against myself on the assumption that I'd be a total fucking bankrupt loser, and my broker's called my phone five times this morning already.
I AM FINANCIALLY RUINED.
>>60751235>A divvy loop?>That's fucking crazy
>>60751181So you donโt know either?
>>60751244It might work if the cycles are not synced but they almost invariably are
>>60751256They're not.
I specifically chose those ETFs not only based on their yield, but the groups pay about a week apart.
ulty of course paying weekly.
According to Hazlitt, if wages were to double tomorrow this would've had a minimal impact on prices as long as the monetary base remained the same.
Now I don't know what's happening in the US, but if that happened here prices would've followed pretty closely. If not on retail products, then definitely services
Reminder to invest internationally
>>60751263Even on IBKR arenโt transaction fees going to rape you quite hard considering lots of divvies are in percentage terms pretty close to feed
>>60751263The payout is not the cycle
>>60751276>transaction feeshuh?
the gibs are depositied, you use them to buy more shares
>>60751277fidelity lets you transact with divvy gibs before the funds are settled, I've tried it. So yes, they might as well be.
>>60751200Alani must have been ran by morons who wanted a fast exit. Whatever. Great for me.

>>60751318isn't it nice being an investor in the trump era. true equality has finally been achieved as bears and bulls alike get rugpulled daily
I really should have bought Celsius calls. Everyone drinks like three cans of that garbage a day at work. It's like the early days of Red Bull. But I didn't realize earnings were coming up.
This is like when I was going to buy calls on the Circle IPO but wasn't paying attention and missed the IPO by a few days. Once again I miss out from laziness and not doing my DD.
>>60751331That was expected.
Things that weren't
>bank vote on rates cut was 4 for, 4 against and 1 for but should go further (signs the BoE are worried and have no unified strategy)>4% inflation when it should be going downwards>rising unemployment>businesses getting really fucked by tax and National Insurance rises>government currently putting out feelers for more tax rises without any more spending
>>60751332That's a great price. Also with Celsius having PepsiCo distribution in the US they should have access to more shelf space and markets. I assume that the Alani leadership wanted a quick exit or else they probably could have gotten a better price from some private equity bidding war.
>>60751318haha he really did
>>60751336BARE SHELVES BIDEN
You havenโt seen market euphoria yet

>>60751906It doesn't take a lot of capital to pump it. If a tiny retail order for 100 shares fills at $0.01 higher than the last price, the stock price goes up $0.01 regardless. Retail investors never use limit orders, always market, and Wall Street and market makers absolutely can tweak their settings to let the price pump on low volume.

>>60751942It's the exact opposite though. Wallstreet sold me AMD and Nvidia at $80 a share and now they want to buy my shares for $160+. I don't think you really understand how instutional investing actually works. They can't just sit out a bullrun, they have to answer to their clients whose money they manage and if the market goes up 50% in 3 months and they are underinvested, their clients want to know what the fuck they are doing. Which is why institutional investors are so desperate for a correction to get back in.

>>60751985>Bostic is the only based Fed and this faggot>Fedโs Waller Said To Emerge As Favourite For >Fed Chair Among Trump Team>will likely become Chair.I think you should all study how it went for Turkroaches. Very interesting similar (and recent at that) case study on how it will go.
>>60751979Wall Street bought AMD in 2019 at $35 and sold you SOME of those shares at $80 in a sudden need to de-risk, locking in some gains precisely because they have clients to answer to. Wall Street is not buying your $160, 125 P/E shares. Reddit is. Wall Street is recently showing net outflows. If you think retail is going to consistently beat Wall Street, you are as retarded as someone who thinks the market is going to crash. Retail is pumping each others' bags, with help from Wall Street algos that are happily lubricating the pump and selling on the way up. Most Wall Street firms see 5% average gains a year for the S&P for the next decade or so.
>>60752002Lol, Wallstreet got the IPO price. Retail baggies are buying the top

>>60752013So what exactly is your theory here? That the stock market will eventually crash back down to the April lows of this year and then Wallstreet will buy back in? Or will Wallstreet never buy stocks again because the stock market is finished? Because otherwise, you simply have to admit that Wallstreet selling and de-risking in April was a dumb move and retail has profited off of it. I think you are really overestimating the intelligence of institutional investors. They are the ones who have been ballooning Palantir up to 600 PE while retail was buying that stock for 6 bucks back in 2022.

>>60752049Wall Street may be dumb, but retail most certainly aren't any smarter. For no reason whatsoever, in your headcanon, you're assuming retail are all superhuman quants and Wall Street are all eating lead paint flaking off the walls of their skyscraper. You're likely wrong to some degree.
>They are the ones who have been ballooning Palantir up to 600 PE while retail was buying that stock for 6 bucks back in 2022I have no idea why you feel secure in assuming this. It's a meme stock, which means retail is pumping it pretty much by definition.
>That the stock market will eventually crash back down to the April lows of this year and then Wallstreet will buy back in?>buy back inYou're assuming Wall Street completely exited in April. They didn't. A crash of that magnitude could be caused by Wall Street offloading like 5% of their holdings. My theory is that Wall Street expects a good deal of sideways movement in the coming years, even if retail might continue their frenzy for a while longer. That's it.

Call it a top signal or whatever you want but you have to admit the stock market game has changed. Up until 2010 trading and investing were completely out of reach of the public besides passive 401k investing. You would pay 100 usd commission for a buy order back then, not to mention you had to physically call your broker. Imagine trying to do a trailing stop loss back then.
The combination of extremely easy trading with apps, 0 commissions and many people becoming millionaires with crypto has shifted the balance from hedgies to retail. If you want proof, compare the dip of april to August 1. It was the same algorithmically driven dump only the second time it dropped 1% instead of like 7%. The reality is that retail now has assets and they are not selling. They dont care about valuations and PE ratios and jew bullshit, we all want to make money and right now we all are. This is also without considering the billions of Indians placing billions of fractional share market orders to make 20 bucks.
Basically, stocks will never go down (significantly) again. Invest in HOOD and webull.

>>60752900It is easier now but the public was trading back during the dotcom years and there were online trading platforms. Then they got double heemed by the dotcom bust and 2008 and didn't touch stocks again until 2020.
