The fate of wagies has nothing to do with the economy anymore. In fact, the less hiring, the better companies thrive, closing off the AI economy, the more wealth is transferred from the wageslave class to the wielders of data centers and government contracts. And UBI will only accelerate that. Have fun gooning to VR in your containment pod, emasculated useless meat waiting to get MAIDed.

the ttop tech companies, or top 500 companies don't show the state of the economy. You are aware of this right?
None of your cute financial services transactions get registered in GDP.

You are quite late to the party. We've been in a recession for years, and they covered it up with our replacements.

Heres some of the places I've applied to this week:
>FedEx (2 positions)
>Costco (6 positions)
>Harbor Freight (retail)
>My city's police office (desk job)
>local Amazon DSP (not Amazon, its a DSP under Amazon)
And every day I've been checking Amazon Hiring for a job from one of the 3 local delivery stations near me. They arent dropping shifts so that tells me no one is leaving their jobs or they dont need new people.

I check job boards every day there is practically nothing available and if there is an "opening" its usually a total nothing burger. Its been this way for a year.

I have an AA in Business, some volunteer experience under my belt, good references, and I'm literally stuck in life I have no idea what to do.

So, no one is hiring, no one is working, no one is earning money, no one is consuming. Then how do corporations even make money if consumers don't earn any money?

I mean, take a look at yourself. What do you know how to do? Who do you know? Go out and start doing it and get paid for it. Look around. What service do the people you know need? Literally doesn't matter what it is if you can do it and get paid for it. I haven't had a "job" since 2005. You have the internet. You have a vehicle. You have a particular set of skills (maybe) that's all you need. This next line is going to piss people off, but I've literally shoveled snow and mowed lawns to make rent before. Dumpster dived and sold the shit at flea markets. I was making 1000 a week doing that at one point, living in a 14 x 20 foot apartment. I trolled craigslist for shit to flip. I once cleared out 10,000 hardcover books from an old house from a craigslist listing free, to whoever would remove them. I had nowhere to put them so I'd go to the house, fill up my subaru outback with books and drove to the local goodwill and sorted the books off the tailgate, dumping all the unsaleable shit right after I picked it up. 40 car loads. Broke my suspension but the books were worth more than the car. Called up book dealers and arranged to sell them. Printed business cards for a business that didn't really exist so I could hand them out to people. $14 on vistaprint. Whatever, there are ways.

Oh, well then I guess you shouldn't even try then. You think there isn't competition for dumpster diving? That there isn't a crew of sharp hustlers anywhere you go? There are indeed a lot of other fuckers running around trying to do it. But I SUCCEEDED at it. And the longer you do it, the easier it gets, because you learn from your mistakes and build up contacts and clients and sources and outlets.

Nah, I've been outside. It's 100 degrees out it sucks. Car living sucks, couch surfing sucks, been there did that.
Getting real sick of the heat anyway. I turn the A/C off all day to save money.
Military can pay for my college instead of me getting in debt for it and if it's not horrible then maybe ill come back in as an officer.

50% reliant on the wagies, and most of that is food, rent and car operating cost. The transition will be a bear market, but it's doable, just look at Trump's policies. He's preparing America. After that transition, 2040 or so, with effectively no middle class, it will be 70% owned by the rich. The rest will be UBI tax paid basic necessities for the podded cattle, 10% service workers and niches that AI has not yet destroyed, and struggling entrepreneurs who desperately try to escape the 15 minute pod cities and shared flats.

With the vast majority of those jobs are those in underemployment. Vast majority are struggling, the few that you see that are thriving are not in the majority. Also remember that our current economy is propped up by the overspend on credit cards mirage.

iPhone, Netflix, and DoorDash are not basic necessities. The services that Big Tech provides are not essential, people can easily survive without them. The scenario you described would bankrupt these corporations.
