I guess Trump thinks countries should be run like businesses - for profit. He thinks America is now HIS country, his business, his profit. In his eyes, tariffs are profit - his personal gain. And he is going to make sure this becomes true. The high costs we as citizens are paying due to tariffs will become his personal gains. We are funding Trump himself. It's all about money.

Bloumpf backstabbing every ally the US got under the sun can only work for so long before it backfires spectacularly.
He doesn't seems to understand diplomacy is about mutual interests. If nobody wins when dealing with the US, then others nations will figure out a way to do it without the US.
It's especially disgusting to betray Switzerland that way when they already got punched in the guts so many time by Washington and never fought back in hope to please the US. In just few years the US :
>nuked their banking secret
>nuked Credit Suisse
>blacklisted them over bullshit unfair trade claims
>sold them a bunch of shitty F35s and continuously jacked up the price at the last minute (in the tune of billions USD)
>got the FBI meddling with their internal affairs
>forced them to host the complete farce of Ukraine-Russia peace talk full of NAFO troons
>sold them tungsten filled gold bars
it's only from the top of my mind, and i'm not swiss. Truly a shameful display, if swiss politicians have any semblance of spine left in them, they should cancel all the current arm trades with the US.

Ever since 1991, US interests have never once been fulfilled. This is simply the American people striking back against their government and wanting to go back to their natural isolationism now that the Soviets are gone and the cosmopolitan globalist elites have done nothing but make their lives worse.
There's a very strong likelihood that Trump will be the least Trump-like President from here on out. He'sthenew average.

It depends on their flavor of autism.
I see a silver dime or quarter or some shit boomers love to have that weighs like .1 or .2. so I mean it's fractional for cheap if you get it in a junk pile but I'm sure someone wants 10000k formerly well to do's for it.
For real, at this gsr, I cannot justify silver numismatics. When the shit closes, I think you'll be able to close the numismatic premium better. idk maybe a dude with a book and a gsr chart can show otherwise. AND I worded that like shit, but I think you'll figure it out.
Bottom line is more ozt now and then you'll be able to swap for gold or numismatics cheaper. I think. But I'm not super heavy into that side of the game. That's like beanie babies and shit to me.
Don't get me wrong, my nigger. I have a shit ton of beanie babies over the years of hitting antique stores.

Price of gold is going up thanks to tariffs.
Whatβs really interesting is that these tariffs undermine the ability to endlessly rehypothecate the same bars through the LBMA clearing system.
People who own 'paper' this or that... gold, oil, copper...essentially own nothing. If you don't hold the physical, you don't own it.
In the case of gold and probably silver, there are maybe a hundred pieces paper that says you own one bar, which is obviously not possible. Now, someone is going to have an audit and find out the one guy who does own it, while the other 99 guys are SOL.
Their 'paper wealth' just vanished.

If that was true tiktok wouldn't be flooded with clips of US thots filming themselves eating frappuci-avocados all day long at their cushy big corp do-nothing jobs earning 200K/y.
The US is flooded with so much cash half your jobs turned into adult nursery. Not every american is profiting from the scam, but tens of millions do. They don't even pretend to be productive anymore. They just accept being paid ridiculously high amounts of cash (100K is ridiculous tier for the world, even 50K is absurd) without asking themselves how that can be they produce zero added value but are paid so much, it's some magical shit to them.

COMEX trades in 1 kg, 100 oz bars; ONLY
By effectively capping imports of these bar types, the move raises the stakes for COMEX short sellers, whose ability to source bars for delivery just got more complicated. They are trying to end price manipulation. It pressures the Swiss refining system, and reasserts New York as the central arena for price discovery, and ensures that if gold is going to play a larger role in the future global monetary system, it will do so on U.S. terms.

Gold tariffs mean one thing: the dollar canβt compete. Theyβre not taxing Swiss bars; theyβre taxing your exit. The elites just locked the gold door while lighting the fiat house on fire.

Buying gold grams is such a waste of premium, you're better off buying silver.
You're paying $30 over spot as a premium for that 1 gram bar. That means if you were to buy enough of those 1 gram bars (28ish) to reach 1 oz of gold, you will have paid an extra $840 in premium. That's money not in gold value. Compare to buying a whole 1oz of gold, you're paying maybe $50-100 in premium for the same amount. Gold is better to buy in large amounts, 1/10 minimum, 1/4 better.
If you're just starting, for $140 you can get a couple of silver eagles with only a couple bucks premium.

I wouldn't bother with 1g bars, premium too high. The assay cards do help with authenticity though. I'd get 5g at least, 10g preferably. 1/4toz American Gold Eagles too. .18toz Latin Monetary Union coins like French Roosters or Swiss 20 Francs (my favorite) are also good for non-US coins. Brit Sovs also.

Ironically, some of us are multi millionaires now and have become so by knowing what is and isn't money. Our #1 export is debt notes, and as you have rightly stated that they are the best currency in this realm. Why? Because they are substantiated by brutal enforcement, and that is accomplished with silver and gold in our technological development.

America's "brutal force" backing the dollar is barely worth a shit anymore. The US army couldn't prevent the Houthi Red Sea blockade and failed to neutralize Iran's nuclear program. Their only preemptive defense against the Chinese taking Taiwan is to move the chip foundries elsewhere. The US hegemony is practically over at this point, and with it the ensured value of the USD.

Yes, you are correct.
PAMP in particular has a reputation that elevates their provenance and bars' values.
One gram is a bit small - I prefer the 2.5 gram, but that's a tiny nit to pick.
Yes, smaller bars have higher premiums. This is also true when you go to sell. The idea is that you hold onto them long enough that even the premiums won't matter if selling for spot. The costliest 2.5g bar I bought was $177 in December, 2021. Now they retail for $300.
The small sizes also mean others can afford to buy them - they're easily sold.

See picrel? An uber rare sestertius to commemorate the creation of the new Roman administrative capitale of Lugdunum under Augustus in year 5 AD. There are 17 of them known to exist, 13 of them being displayed at the British Museum/Louvres/BNF/NYC's ANS and Berlin Munzekabinet. And i got one of the 4 left in private collections.
Yes it's not in the best shape, but i still find it incredible to be able to claim ownership of such rare item with amazing historical relevance. Way more unique than purchasing ugly monke .jpgs for $500K (now worth $3.50).

right? But stamp collecting was killed by ebay. ebay didn't kill coin collecting, if anything it made the prices go up. So it's not going to be the same situation. Coin collecting has been popular for thousands of years, so even if it dies off it's just going to be local, or temporary. I could see US coin prices collapsing, but people will still collect.

Numismatic coins will always have at least some value over face as historic items. Its really only boomers that give random quarters and nickels $200k bids because only 5000 of them were made on a rainy Tuesday at 4pm by John's drunk cousin that was filling in for him in 1948. Silver and gold coins on the other hand usually don't have numismatic value and are only there as a means of physically holding valuable minerals.

Oh having PM content absolutely keeps them relevant, yes. Stamps had value - they represented fiat paid for a service. It's not quite the same as game cards. But even numismatic added value is subject to the whims of the zeitgeist. Only unused Forever stamps will retain an intrinsic service value (as long as the USPS still accepts them for postage). Old coins' values retain only the metal value, then add the collector's desires and historic value.
I'm not implying coin collecting will every go away. I'm saying their value is mostly social construct. Imagine finding an ancient hoard in Europe. Would you melt it down on your own to reclaim the value, or would you give it up and get nothing in return?

almost all of the stamps collected were used, they had no value aside from people wanting them for collections. I still have a pile of them sitting around from my dead family's collections, but they're probably garbage.
Nobody buys them anymore.
even unused stamps don't sell. I have boxes of unused postage from the early 1900's and I can't sell it even for the postage value.

I think you're missing my point. Coins can't be spent as such now either. They have value for two reasons: they're more durable, and they're rarer. But stamps and coins both represented something more than the materials in the past.
And again, because you seemed to have glossed over this:
>>60759793

I'm not arguing with you. I agree with everything you said. Just adding that the entire value of most stamps was social, and that they're now complete garbage.
regarding coins I have no idea, but given history I expect they'll always be worth something. But as you say they could easily go down in value a lot.
Or up
hard to say.

if it makes you feel any better, throughout almost all of monetary history that gold/silver was melted and remelted, ancient BC coins turning into early AD coins, and eventually some of that metal is made into modern ones.
But yeah... nice to preserve history.

fair 'nuf, particularly for the canceled stamps.
There is a peculiar anomaly though: Forever stamps. Because the USPS keeps raising postage, these stamps gain value. It's a quirk of one country, not likely to last, but it exists. I bought like $200 Forever stamps off an ebay vendor when they came out, and applied for a paypal card or some promotion and got an additional discount. Ended up paying like 30 cents per stamp. Still use them on occasion - mostly to send checks to PM vendors! :)

legit question here why do kikes let you take massive $500,000+ loans for student debt for shitty worthless degrees but not for buying a stockpile of gold? kikes will give you millions of dollars for mortgaging a house but not for buying gold. you ever notice that? you ever notice how kike banks are happy to loan hundreds of millions of dollars to a company like microstrategy to buy bitcoin but would never loan a penny to a clone company that stockpiles gold. really makes you think

not sure how much you'd need to borrow a half million on a signature loan, probably about $250k/year verified. But I make around that and have about $100k in credit just on credit cards alone.

Having bought a lot of gold on credit, in my experience they usually
1. block the charge
2. call you to make sure it's you trying to buy the gold
3. advise you if you have to pay a cash advance fee
4. allow the purchase to go through
they don't like loaning you money to buy gold, but only because it's the same as loaning you cash and they charge extra for that.

Yup, (((they))) know nobody wants their new CBDC ultra-surveillance world, so they do the only trick they know always works : greed.
If the elites achieve CBDC integration worldwide, it's basically game over for personal freedoms, unless you are part of the elites yourself.
I don't get how people still sleep at the wheel looking how fast things are getting done. Infrastructure wise, everything is ready for their techno-feudalism, all they need is compliance.
We already see the effects of what fully digitalized & intregrated cloud dystopia can trigger.
Over here the judeocracy is organizing crackdowns on "political dissidents" (literally just yt podcasters and humorists who talk about the genocide in Gazah, white replacement or various "conspiracy" stuff..) they deem extremists* (*can vary depending on the needs).
If you are on the target list in 2 min they destroy your life. They lock your personal and professional bank accounts, they lock the personal accounts of your closest relatives, they launch a smear campaign against you using personal datas stored on your devices, make them visible via bots spamming and key positions at moderations of sites like wiki, they use front NGOs to sue you and bleed you to death in the tribunals, they launch court orders to take away your kids and force you to divorce, they mail your boss about you being now in the S-list (so potential terrorist)...
They can (and) do all this in MINUTES without having to knock at your door. Just from a computer.

Now with CBDCs linked to all your devices it will be 10x worse. If a facial recognition camera see you drop a paper in the wrong bin, or if you mow your lawn at the innapropriate hour of the day, or if you install an "illicit" swing in your garden for your kid and a satellite flag it (it already do be like this), you will receive an AI generated automatic fine of $FED100 immediately draining your bank account. It will do that for everything, forgot to clip your seatbelt before starting your car? Fined & automatically drained. Put the wrong waste in the wrong bin? Fined and automatically drained. Ad infinitum.
Since they will have a complete register of every transaction you ever did, an AI will automatically check if the transaction should be a taxable event (it will), and will automatically drain your account of the amount the IRS predetermined. Sell your old pokemon cards on ebay? Flagged, 30% for the gubment. You went to Cambodia and bought more than 2 cartons of cigs at Phnom Penh? Automatically fined AND taxed at national's rates.
One day late on your rent or mortgage? Automatically fined by the bank with interests.
Try to purchase more than your allowance of 2oz of silver monthly? Swarm of minidrones with nano-explosive charges with your facial features as target given to the AI.
Soon governments will have more power than literal Gods over us.
To each anon i want to ask this : Do you think they will use it for our good and happiness? Or to ensure we become their obedient slave class forever?

We say that since forever and it's true, but in reality nobody want to be the fall guy so it's only getting worse.
And at some point in the future, it wont be feasible anymore, they will ascend to pseudo godhood.
Technically speaking, we could be only years away from a kind of Interpol system fed with the biometric + GPS cellphone data of everybody on earth, tracking your every move and minidrones with an explosive charge following our every steps 24/7 and determining if you are about to commit a precrime.
Just you looking a bit to closely at the daily habits & itineraire of someone from the neo-aristocracy then buying a gun will be enough to trigger a kill order because the AI identified you as a threat.
This is the kind of reality current technology allow. I try to not to think too much about it because even few minutes pondering this shit are enough for me to imagine Matrix becoming a reality few decades down the line.
We went from riding horses naked, chewing roots, kicking wolfes in the groin and grabbing females by the pussy for later rape back in the hut to techno-futurist baseddystopia way too fast kek.

To fully comprehend, this is to fully comprehend that debt doesn't exist.
Just hollow words from the lips of liars, of whom and which we all are. Writing big bird checks, while being tiny little sparrows...
The greatest strength in following truth is knowing just how false one truly is and accepting it.

From ChatGPT's (I had to give the retard-nigger the spot prices):
Got it β letβs redo the math with todayβs spot prices.
1 Silver Option
Weight: 32 oz silver
Spot value = 32 Γ $38.27 = $1,224.64
Cost = $1,261.88
Premium = $1,261.88 β $1,224.64 = $37.24 premium (~3% above spot)
2 Platinum Option
Weight: 25 g platinum = 0.8038 oz
Spot value = 0.8038 Γ $1,332.00 β $1,070.66
Cost = $1,256.38
Premium = $1,256.38 β $1,070.66 = $185.72 premium (~17.35% above spot)
Updated Comparison
Much lower premium: Silver (3%) vs Platinum (17.35%)
Closer to spot: Silver price is almost at spot; platinum is still a big markup.
Liquidity: Both liquid, but 1 oz+ silver bars are easier to sell near spot than fractional platinum.
Upside Potential: Platinum is rarer and more volatile, but youβd need a bigger price increase just to cover the higher premium.
Better deal today: Silver option β itβs almost at spot, much lower premium, and gives you more bullion for the money.
If youβd like, I can also calculate how much platinum would have to rise to make the platinum option outperform the silver one from this exact starting point. That would show the βbreak-evenβ relative performance needed.

>What gives crypto and stocks its value?
All value comes from life.
In other words, crypto and stocks derive value from something else higher up the hierarchical order closer to life.
If you would really like the breakdown, we can start with air.
3 minutes without air most die.
Then water
3 days without water most die.
Then food
3 weeks without food, most die.
Moving down the hierarchy from here, I personally would place silver and gold without which all of the technology makes the 3 above this nonexistent.
Simple really.

Got a 14k pendant bezel for a 5g pamp suisse bar.
I controlled the entire process of creation, I bought the 3d cad files, paid a casting house to cast it, I ordered lab made diamonds from China, I cleaned up the casting and had a jeweler set the stones.
Overall it cost me $650 to create the bezel, the bar is separate, a similar piece sells for around $1800-2k on the retail market. I cut out all the ((middlemen))

The bezel has around $300 of gold. The casting house charged me about $50 on top of the gold value.
Diamonds cost about $100
$200 for the stone setting.
I know i wasted like 300 to put shiny worthless diamonds on it like a nigger, but I was honestly just testing the manufacturing process. Now I know how to get any custom jewelry made for very cheap compared to the retail price.
I got a chain with it that I bought for spot on ebay, which i fixed the clasp myself.
The other day I bought a cuban link bracelet for 10% over spot on ebay, it was sold by an account with no feedback, which can be good because its being sold by a normie instead of a pawn shop or jewelry store that are trying to get 200% over spot, and nowadays ebay has an authentication program on high value purchases so they test the gold before sending it to you.
I have experience with making jewelry and could make the bracelet myself but it honestly takes so long that im more than happy to spend the 10% over spot to save tons of time which I could have used to make more than that cost.
