Here’s the this fuddies don’t get. Sergey had to ignore the token price in the past. With the adversarial government approach to crypto for the past 10 years, he had to protect himself and Chainlink from getting destroyed by the government or at best caught in a Ripple-style decade long court battle.

Now that the government stance is to embrace blockchain technology and crypto, he can now pay attention to the token price and tokenomics.

It’s certainly no coincidence that this Chainlink reserve was created shortly after the Genius act and other clear signs of the government’s intentions.

The number of ETH addresses holding Link has been more than 777,777 for more than 1 year.

The only reason Sergay bothered to make a post about it just now is to drum up hype and try to hijack what is left of the 4chan meme magic so that he can dump into it. Chainlink holders didn't just recently hit the 777,777 mark but that's what he would like you to believe. He wants you to think that usage is le exploding and that means le price is about to rocket.

So this Chainlink Reserve shit is good and all but LINK still has a lot to go to catch up from how brutally it has under performed for 5 years now. Every other shitcoin in the top 20 or whatever is multiple times higher than its 2020 prices. Meanwhile Chainlink is barely breaking through 2020 prices. Just quickly checked for around 5 years ago:
