microwaves have a very obvious use that can be demonstrated in about five seconds.
Most people vaguely "know" inflation exists, but only really started to feel it post COVID.

btc was murdered by its own success.
microwaves can be manufactured for $50 and sold for $200, bitcoin costs > $90k to mine and are sold for $120k. Most families can easily afford a microwave, but they would have to sacrifice buying that new truck in order to afford a single bitcoin - it's just not worth it.

percentage ownership in retail investor portfolios would be an effective comparison.

What about the internet? First internet was only used by military in the 60s, it wasnโ€™t until the 90s consumers had access to it and wasnโ€™t until gay ass social media in the late 2000s when it became mainstream

is the OP who always phrases his posts this way just a super lonely autist who is doing the /biz/ equivalent of doing sรณyface in a YouTube thumbnail to drive engagement?

Why would you want to respond to this? You should never attempt to convince anyone to buy Bitcoin. They should all be left behind.

Bitcoin solves the problem for tech chuds that money creation is democratic and not controlled by (them). Adoption is slow when you have to trick people into solving that problem.
