An "expert" at Harvard declared BTC a dud in 2018. Think about how many midwits completely wrote off BTC as an investment because of this FUD. Funny enough, Harvard bought $100+ million worth of a bitcoin ETF recently. We need to hold these people accountable.

I kind of did..
Looked into BTC seriously in 2012, but it was too complicated to set up, plus I was broke anyways. Looked into it again later, but I kept looking into it from the technical standpoint, which was a little complicated, but I sort of got the idea. I didn't understand the money side of it, which is the "why it goes up" until a decade later.
Mostly because I gave up and dismissed it as something I missed the boat on that people would laugh at and call a get rich quick scheme, etc.

crypto failed because of this tho. ideologically speaking, the cypherpunk ethos did not proliferate because it could not compete with psychopathic gatekeeping

What is the point of the field of "financial advisory" if financial advisors were unanimous in turning people away from the best performing asset class of our lifetimes?
What is the point of any of the credentialed class at that point? Bankers, money managers, academics? What is the point of them?
