At most you should isolate yourself from undesirable locations, settings, and events. You can run your mouth at 50mil+ without the scalping from average folks affecting your bottom line in a meaningful way, but youll still deal with the other social and temporal frictions that happen when you're too much of an ass-but it's all just wasted energy.

There are good people that won't "make it" who are a net benefit to your quality of life. Character is destiny and rubbing it in the faces of average folks costs you the company of the good ones.

I haven't Had to worry about anything I buy in a long time. People notice when you're not under pressure for anything and they feel the delta in your living against theirs.
