Nvidia is the #1 name and company of the global economy nowadays.
Just as Apple was for the 2010s.
Simple as.
>but what's the cause and effect...?
The effect of the ever increasing global money/debt/currency stock is the perpetual increase of prices of goods and services deemed "en vogue" at a certain base velocity.
This even trumps every other "economic" theory. "Supply & demand" to name one.
Check picrealted to see how this applies to housing.

Taiwan's best option is to inflict absolutely massive casualties on China to the point that war becomes unpalatable for them. This is actually more likely than you might think; the island's had literally decades to prepare and is by all accounts a true fortress, and the most lowest of low-ball estimates for Chinese deaths to take it are in numbers well-exceeding 2 million. This might not sound like a lot on paper, but China's demographics are really fucked. Not that Taiwan's are much better, but they're the defender, and convincing your people to throw away millions of lives consisting of young men of prime reproductive age in such dire demographic circumstances is a lot harder to sell than "defend the homeland". Remember that 2 million casualties is the rosey "things go in China's favor" estimate, median estimates are in the 5 - 7 million range. High estimates are WWII-tier.

You sound like someone who is risk averse, but feeling a bit of FOMO while not wanting to commit to any single company long term. I would suggest you scratch that itch by using a conservative amount of margin, which lets you access equity in your holdings without selling. For example, you can use $20K in margin (10%) and put it all into one or two high conviction stocks in one go, then continue investing as you normally would while setting aside a little to pay down the margin. No need to pick something risky, anything in the mag 7 that doesn't rhyme with "isla" will do. After one year, sell it all, put your gains back into your safe ETFs, then repeat the process.
If your $200K is all at one brokerage, you'll probably pay 10~12% interest on your margin. Which would be about the same as paying a personal portfolio manager, while actually doing something for you.

clearly people are. also if its legal its easier to buy on the black market. also its more like 50-100% more expensive in the shop

chances are its also just a commodity product and thats why the price per ounce collapsed. you cant really brand weed strands so its hard to charge a premium that way.

I doubled my money on Archer, sold and bought Joby, was up 2x now 179%. Joby is 2x the size of Archer and is out front with their bird blender technology. Archer buying other companies does not help it at this stage, I do not see how. Joby is vertically integrated, Archer relying on others to produce its parts. Not shitting on Archer, just not seeing the reason why Archer will do as well as Joby. I posteded a few threads ago how Joby joined the military/weapons arena by partnering with L3. Time will tell. Market is rewarding a slow and steady approach to certification right now, so JOBY sees the lead there. ACHR is very likely to skyrocket once everything is signed off and they can launch ASAP. I'm not sure if accelerated and concurrent approval processes is the right approach though, aeronautics has historically been a very slow and methodical industry. Wouldn't want an OceanGate with air taxis, especially so early on in its development. I'd wager that vertical integration and having tight control over its manufacture is the right way to go.

1. speed and focus matter more than owning factory (which Archer actually now has but yes they source parts)
2. owning manufacturing = owning risk and obsolescence (esp. when the tech evolves fast).
3. smart companies leverage the supply chain. see: Nvidia, Apple, and Tesla.
Nvidia designs chips, TSMC manufactures them.
Apple designs SoCs, TSMC again manufactures.
Tesla still relies on Panasonic for batteries. "Vertical Integration" only makes sense if you can do it better.

Also if I remember correctly from the story, Joby and L3 are going to do some kind of hybrid bird blender with a jet engine/generator combo to power the electric motors (no hydraulics), and Joby is/has tried a hydrogen fuel cell for faster "refueling". It looks like the defense industrial complex is partnering its major defense contractors (the ones with more high tech not just guns and bullets) to paid up with new drone/VTOL, and PLTR/AI/machine learning companies and throwing 10s of billions of dollars at it because the war in Ukraine has shown how new small tech weapons were wiping out tanks, APCs, bunkers. Ukraine's starlink commed robo boats blew the shit out of Russia's major ships.

Oh, also looks like ASTS is getting paired up for the golden dome and military comms contracts, they are not leaving it all up to Elon anymore.

I just did some quick reading again and found a bit more info....I did not know Joby was so tied into the MIC already.

"Additionally, Joby showed that its platform can be modified to deliver longer ranges. Last July, the company showcased a hydrogen-electric air taxi that flew over 500 miles, generating water as the only by-product.

Joby has been working with the U.S. Department of Defense since 2016 through its Defense Innovation Unit, the agency’s research and development organization. The company worked with the DIU to advance Joby’s aircraft for commercial and military use.

In October 2020, the U.S. Air Force awarded Joby a contract through its R&D wing, AFWERX Agility Prime, which focuses on accelerating the commercial market for advanced air mobility as well as creating a domestic supply chain. The agreement supported Joby’s commercial business goals while also exploring various future uses for the government, according to the military branch’s press release."

Agreed. It does appear that with the draw down of key supplies of US weapons they may be starting to figure out they need a better process. The US wants to get out of the Ukraine war to focus on China, so the military spending will continue.

>Ubuntu: login screen was bugged and didn't accept my passwords, had to manually start a safe mode boot every single time
>Mint: Boots to a black screen that accepts no inputs
>Pop_OS: Package manager broken on a clean install

The biggest advantage windows has is the absolutely absurd amount of bug reports from billions of devices spanning decades that solves issues that can arise from things like having a unique hardware configuration with conflicting drivers. Things will undoubtedly improve as more people switch to linux over the Win 11 issues.

I do. But luckily you can drive it illegally in a safe way. ^^

And besides, if you've got enough money, it's not really illegal it's more just a usage fee.

I've been driving my SYM Jet 14 50cc scooter for slightly more than half a year now and already more than four times have people almost crashed/killed me. If they can't operate on 2D plane, they certainly can't on 3D plane. That being said, it's probably safer to be drunk flying with an autopilot than drunk driving with an autopilot.

I've flown many planes in flight simulator with a joystick (?), I wonder how much more difficult it is to fly in real life?

>I wonder how much more difficult it is to fly in real life?
It's really more difficult and easier at the same time depending on how you look at it.

It's easier in that you sense more (but in turn this can also be bad) and generally "feel" the plane. It's harder in that if you fuck up there's no reloads or retries. Best case scenario you fuck up your plane, worst case scenario you cause a bunch of problems for people who really would prefer not to piece together what went wrong with your flight and search for pieces for your thorax at 3 in the morning in a forest in some shithole.

Nvidia will DUMP after its earnings report (Aug 27) shows clear accounting discrepancies in light of China's then-recent cancellation and the *public* finally discovers how Nvidia has been counting "revenue" this whole time.
Rug pull is coming...hehe in a little over 2 weeks.

Right now you can buy it over the counter, but I'm 2026, according to anon, it should get listed on one of the stock exchanges.

I also love to get stocks over the counter, it's a neat trick to get rare stocks that aren't listed on any stock exchanges yet. I says
>Robert, give me some jerky, a pack of American Spirit and twenty dozen shares in Speculative Hypothetical Materials Manufacturer
Lately I've seen a lot of people in trenchcoats and sunglasses at the counter, I think they might be insiders from the Ass&Pee who like to IPO a little something every once in a while. I wait in line and Robert winks at me

This is exactly the kind of shit we expect from Chyna or Russia or any other shithole where there's no rule of law, see the BABA debacle and their market doing -50% right after, but man, I didn't expect the US to fall so low so quickly. I may be retarded and I may have spammed these tickers, but I'm not wrong.

GRRR shorts about to get squeezed in the run up to earnings Thursday. Not saying earnings will be good or that there will be a contract announcement, but the stock price will act like there will until reality shatters that delusion.

GAMB going to deliver double beat on their earnings and will run up all the way until 2026.

I just want my online schizoid frens to make some free money.

Like I said, GRRR sell the hype and get out before Thursday, likely between the $22.5 - $25 range. Don't get greedy if this really is your last shot.

GAMB is going to turnaround Thursday and should pump but I'm holding until their next earnings in November which will include the Football seasons in Europe and USA which is their busiest time of year. Target price is $18 but wouldn't surprise me to see $20+

Which metric do you believe indicates overvaluation? Forward PE 18. Most profitable company on the planet and steady double digit growth. AI leader when 6 months ago it looked as though AI would dethrone their search engine.

Not to mention their emerging sectors (Cloud, Waymo) and YouTube streaming dominance and undervaluation when compared to Netflix which it has beat in revenue and streaming hours by a great margin.

GOOGL will be a $10T company by 2030, that is why it is 70% of my portfolio.

Only short term negatives are the antitrust remedies and DOJ court case beginning in September, at worst they present buying opportunities, at best they are catalyst to moonshoot to other Mag 7 PE ratios ($300 Share Price at PE 30)

But I am interested in hearing the bear case anon. Kisses. Mwah.

It's even better than that, rumour is they're going to get a sweetheart tech transfer deal with TMSC to start onshoring more chip fab work.

They're a safe bet in any case because they are a strategic company so will not be allowed to fail. Floor of maybe $15, but I can see them hitting $30 again before December. $50 next year as you say. Now is a great time to buy.
