The next time we're in a bear market and the price of BTC has dropped 50%, fucking buy. Do not sit on the sidelines waiting for lower and lower prices, otherwise you will end up bitter and full of regret like you are now.

I'm just sitting on cash. I'm fine waiting a few weeks or months for the price to be well below the ATH before buying back in. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to $130k; and I won't care if it does.

This is right. Instead of waiting for it to be $30k or something, wait for it to be 25%, 33%, 50%, 66%, and 75% below ATH and incrementally buy in at each threshold. At the same time you buy, set your sell order at the ATH price and just wait it out without even looking at your portfolio. Long-term slurping is probably the safest strategy in crypto.
