The glory days are gone. The only good things about Europe are the holdovers from the past but those are slowly fading away. Soon their claims to superior food and quality of life will be just as much of a cope as Americans.

They probably want to introduce a tourist tax like many other countries (Australia), makes kinda sense for high tourist places as tourists dont pay local taxes but taxes are used to build infrastructure for them etc
