it's actually all gold bars (1k and up) coming into the US
but switzerland has around 60% global market share so it's perceived as an attack against them specifically, and everyone who produces gold bars of that size (they all do)

Looking after junk and silverware at flea markets and online on various trading places. Especially looking after unsuspecting owners who don't know what they got.
It's definitely not the fastest nor the easiest way to stack, it require work, but that's the best bang for your bux.

Otherwise stick to the simple way of waiting for dips or at spot deals and get tubes of the most affordable (coins preferably over rounds) .999 you can find.

He means they're literally curly haired yids, anon. The idea is that you want as much silver weight as possible while the GSR is retardedly high and then trade the silver when the ratio closes lower than 50 all the way to silver being more valuable than gold due to consumption.
Right now normies are selling everything their boomers and silent gens left behind. There's a shit ton of junk getting melted so you can find it at spot at your LCS of they're based. My lcs just gives me apmex prices on stuff minus shipping but some stuff has been on the shelf for a while and has old tags on it. He'll often give me whatever is on the sticker. Spot was 37.xx when I grabbed a 10oz double maple for 390. That same coin was going in the 4xx range on ebay at the time.
All these cats that grab shit on here below spot, it's in person anon. You have to leave your mom's house to find stuff sometimes.
But I'm a terrible person. I take shit out of assays and put them in my mouth to see what Chinese air tasted like before they turned pandas into 30g coins. Numismatics are just a scam. A really cool scam with history, but remember, you're buying generally less than an ounce for wayyy over spot.

. There really isnt anything else they can do. The gluts are bound to continue. Longer the silver stays in this price range the worse the gluts are going to become even more glutty. That's why HBSC says prices will be in the $20s in a few years

whatever the best currency to metal ratio you can find is, really.
in my case Germany has this portal
https://www.gold.de/aufgeldtabelle/silber/
which may or may not only list the few sites it partners with, but alas, it compares to spot price which is nice.
Just pick from the best option if you don't like the very cheapest (in my case it was often .625 stuff you could get in bulk, it IS cheap and it WAS in circulation for that matter) and invest however much you want to / can afford.
I usually threw 1000€s in whenever I had enough backup FIAT to last me an arbitrary amount of time.
With gold I was a bit pickier.
generally, under spot is good deals.

Because mans doesn't fundamentally understand this shit. You buy gold because you are rich and you fucking forget about it. If a jit is getting worried over $100, he is playing the wrong fucking game and needs to be very real about his position in life. Does he OWN outright two vehicles? Maybe he should buy a second car with that 3300 instead and learn how to fix it as it breaks. Silver is for poors. It's fractional gold. I don't know why the fuck motherfuckers are so financially illiterate. The ase literally says $1 and an age says $50. Like holy fuck

I'm rich and set for life, why would I risk it on one asset? Like if you have gold are you gonna have it all in a pile in one place? It could go down 70% over a few decades like it did after 1980 or get stolen. I have multiple brokerages (and owned apartments)etc with various Bitcoin ETFs and gold miners and other investments scattered around. I'm not ruined if 1 gold miner or Bitcoin ETF or apartment goes to zero. Most of pmg is so poor it doesn't matter if they lose 100% of $50,000 of rocks you could make that back in a year by getting a second job but I'm never working again

It's a rock. Buying a rock is a gamble on more people wanting that rock it doesn't earn anything by itself like a stock could. And historically it is high risk and low return, the opposite of what you want.

Stocks returned 78 times as much as gold in the last 100 years.

>don't feed the LLM
You realize that everything that exists that man has made has been made with express purpose to perform functions, yes?
Like a car was made to transport man from one place to another without intervention from the mind of a horse, pesky animal minds intervention as it were.
Also, a house was made to provide shelter from the elements and respite from the heat and comfort to rest.
I find it interesting that you say "feed" the LLM, as if it could be starved. It's not an animal, it's a man made thing. Designed with a function like a bank, to enrich those who programed it by the deceptions of cofinadnce upon those who "trust" it. It can not think or reason, only run algorithms of lies into the dialog here.

I'll buy a GB if I like the design and it isn't one of the higher denominations. The premiums are way too high (90% or so) for stacking, and they're not practical for real use - they delaminate after some real-world use (flexing, folding) apparently. I get the impression they're mostly cringe meme for doomers who think they're being cool by using them, and hurr when people say what I just said.

It's a gorgeous box, but two things wrong: the latch is both chintzy and mounted upside-down: 1) after opening the lid, the hook swings down so when closing the lid and you're not watchful, the hook smashes into the lock pin. I later removed it. 2) It's expensive. I find humidors make great PM boxes.

Dubs checked...
Some things I've found:
- Bottom has to be built so that it can hold the weight of what's inside.
- It would be nice to have recessed handles on the sides. Alas, that means probably thicker side walls, but maybe that also helps with supporting the bottom - a groove for the bottom plate?
- The latch should be sturdy.
- I've seen boxes with a sort of tongue around the opening's edge so when you close the box, the lid and bottom keep alignment. This tongue should be on the bottom, not lid. The contents will pack up along the inside and a lip from the top will get stopped by the contents.
- The lid does not need to be thick/roomy. If the contents stack higher than the bottom's edge, stuff may fall out when open. A tall lid is wasted space.
- It would be nice to have it lined with a cloth, preferably anti-tarnish cloth (can be bought by the yard from Amazon). I've thought of gluing cloth to cardboard plates that fit the walls and floor. Can remove and replace with new plates if/when the stuff is no longer effective.
- Should be fairly air tight when closed.
- Inexpensive. (as long as it's a wish list, y'know?)
- Dimensions should be some multiple of common silver dimensions - 41mm x however many coins wide and long, or 45mm if in capsules, or for 10-ozt bars, etc.
- Approximate rule: end weight will be about 3/4 of the metal's density time the volume (this allows for gaps between coins, but bars will stack denser if dimensions match multiples of bars'). I'd recommend shooting for 30 pounds. A spreadsheet will help for interpolating dimensions.

Howzzat for a start? :)

You don't own stocks, if you did you'd be able to show us how many shares you own.

They don't come up often, but there are a few that sold in the last year for a little more than my LCS is charging. I have many libertads, but none are reverse proof. I don't plan on selling it, but rather gifting it to my son (this coin is his birth year). I can afford it, it's just strange paying so much for so little as I've focused mainly on spot deals for the last few years.

I did just watch a 2025 5oz libertad sell for 3kusd. Even though I love them, I don't look at them as numismatic. Am I wrong?

I don't know how they sell well enough to say if it would be worth getting the lower mintage over the cheaper 2024. I would personally go for the 2024. Look up past sales on ebay and see if they go for a good amount over the other years with larger mintages.

I'll run it by a carpenter I know, he does good work, see if I can come up with a base blueprint and material/work cost, thrn get back to y'all. If I'm not back by friday with some proposed 'alpha test' specs it's safe to assume I was mugged and killed while grocery shopping in this shithole called LA.

Burger tokens. They already exist as bread tokens, breadcoin, a literal brass token for bread; and enough of them will warrant the need for a higher denomination made of silver and say maybe around the size of a mercury dime.

I suggest acquiring enough silver shot to submerge your entire corpus within. Get an old clawfoot tub and place it on a scenic overlook, then just keep filling it with silver shot until you can submerge yourself in it.
Once you have bathed in silver, completely submerged by it, then this insanity shall pass...

Dumb thing is, they delivered another non-sig pkg right on the porch. He probably knocked softly, rather than use the freakin doorbell right there. With fans blowing, we didn't hear shit. And the web site has a malfunction says it can't look up the pkg's ID to let me have them redeliver. So yeah - trip to the PO tomorrow.
