At age 15, Warren Buffett used $1,200 he’d saved from selling Coke bottles, magazines, and delivering newspapers to buy a 40-acre farm in Nebraska. Meanwhile, you guys are all NEETs buying fake internet money

today that farm probably costs $10M with a $1200/month property tax even after the farmstead reduction.

>Jamie, bring up how many delivered newspapers it would take to buy a farm in 1945 with no working men around due to WWII and how many it would take in 2025 with BlackStone and Bill Gates buying up all the farmland to make crop circles
Ahh yes, OP is a faggot.

I don't even know what to buy with my money other than more crypto. What am I supposed to do with terrain? It sounds like more pain than gain.

You could have bought fishing equipment to learn how to fish.
Or keep 2 chickens.
If you can get fish and know how to get eggs, when SHTF happens, you'll be the richest man.

That's about $21k for 40 acres! or $500 per acre!!
There is basically nowhere IN THE WORLD today where you can buy that sort of land for that kind of price.

I think one of my few regrets was working from the age of 16 and just not saving a single dime. I even had 15 Bitcoins at one point. I just grew up very poor and wanted to have nice things like a haircut and clothes. I'm in a good spot right now but I do sorta cringe when I think how even saving $1,000 a year and putting into really anything would've given me at least $50k right now, and that $50k would be $1m in a few more decades.

But I think it's overall good that I got the message and that I should be saving a ton of money.
