Question
>almost all in ETH for years
Should I fucking sell now? If I end up roundtripping again I will fucking kill myself but I fear selling now as I'm still below my goal number for life 2.0 (800k needed, 500k right now)

Then again, I would take the money now over losing half of it again just because orange man tweets something the market doesn't enjoy for example.

So speculate on a new ATH, sell now and ignore the amrket for a year at least or start selling in 5-10% steps once a week or something?

Whats you goal for ETH this cycle?
Any help appreciated

i've sold mine at 4.0k, i don't care if is going higher, i can't take another crash to sub 2k, better be safe and stay in stables anon, the most it can go is 4.8k, is it worth it for you?

You'll roundtrip again.

I understand OP, but man, not being in this bet on ETH is insane

why not simplify it, just sell 1/4, 4 times

dump a quarter today and then let the rest ride for a while

/biz/ is strangely made up of myopic niggercattle despite being investors

ETH can really be THE growth ticket

it's not a sure thing but the chance is way greater than 0 and you cant say this of other cryptos except BTC and maybe tron or something else stupid that appeases tradfi jews

if ETH is important its fair value needs to be 0.1 BTC , that's just a starting point. ETH is in a way better position than ever before. and still massively undervalued for what is being talked about

How do you know stablecoins aren't NFTs 2? Until JPM releases their coin or USDC/USDT suddenly grows by a hundred billion or two, I won't be holding my breath.

Wait for 5k then sell. It will go higher but everyone will be waiting for 10k that never comes and then round trip.

I wouldn't sell until BTC dominance is sub 55%

I haven't sold shit since 2018, it was always freedom or nothing for me. But now I'm getting old, I'm 31 already and couldnt stomach another big despair drop like that.. That being said I do expect a new solid ath. I was expecting eth to be around 6-7k by the time btc reaches 100k+ but obviously we're not there.

>>60772799
I hope not anon.

>>60772846
I think I will do that. 4 sell-spots could secure the possibility of a good future without killing myself fir completely missing out.

>>60772860
I'm aware ETH could be that ticket, hence why I never fucking sold it ( I have more than 100 ETH even tho I'm a europoor making absolute shit money). I've been accumulating for many years.

All crypto gains are tax free if you hold a year here without trade. I take that peace of mind over the stress of tax (it's a nightmare here if it's outside of the holding rule really)

>>60773048
Thank you for your thoughts anon, appreciated. Good luck to you.

>>60773057
honestly I would be somewhat shocked if it couldnt even reach 5k and I agree 10k won't come this cycle.. Problem is the USD in my opinion, we reach a new ath in $ way more easily than in most other currencies I believe.

>>60773181
I need around 800k€ bare minimum. But 1.5m+ would allow things I don't even dare to dream about. I'm living off around 900€ a month (and invest the remaining money in a boomer etf)

>>60773218
not a bad call either. I'm currently eyeing these indicators:

that's why it's called a bet and not a sure thing, hmm turns out nobody can predict the future, but I guess you need this part spoonfed to you

you are a coward, you look for certainty. go range trade something

the last time I checked they seemed woefully outdated. they were probably made to retroactively fit what is by now ancient data. now things are much different, but there seem to be some useful ones remaining like the puell one

I thought to myself 15-20 of these are never going off again

>All crypto gains are tax free if you hold a year here without trade.
I don't know what your tax rate is, but I doubt it would've been high enough to offset multiple 2-3x gains over the course of two years.

>>60773277
I am a coward, as most rational risk averse investors are. You should only take gambles where the odds are on your side, like ETH 3 months ago when it was trading at an absurd discount. Right now I'm not convinced the odds are on my side if I buy ETH now compared to its historical volatility, the potential returns are just not worth the short term risk.

Yeah, for me it's pretty simple. BTC dominance is in a downtrend, ETH/BTC is in an uptrend so I can't be bearish on ETH right now. You also have ETH treasuries and ETFs. Just too much signal to fade ETH, $6-8k seems high probability this cycle.

It is possible for BTC to crash and take ETH down with it but for the ratio to still remain on the uptrend. Keep that in mind when you consider the risks of Microstrategy in particular.

For sure, but if that happens then everything in crypto is going to get fucked. I'm bullish BTC though and think we're getting to $130k fairly soonish.

no youre right about that, it's not just monetary but the risk that then tax bureau could fuck me completely over somehow while the waiting is a very safe and sure thing. But yes, this does cost me money, I also didn't stake the ETH for that reason and lost out on a fat check.

>>60773315
Will look more actively into that, thanks for mentioning anon

>>60773331
6-8k$ would enable a real life 2.0 for me. I hope you're right, I'm just somewaht buckbroken from the past few years kek

>>60773347
have been in eth for many years, even when we crash to 500usd or less I'm still in profit, it really does something with your brain over the years. I MUST take profits this time around though.

Nothing greedy about holding an asset that's going to appreciate long term. If you have a multi cycle position you keep holding and buying.

It is if it gives you a headache like OP. Very few people can go all in in something like Eth hold and have peace of mind about it.

I sold all mine at 4200.
I don't trust the economy right now. Seems like we're due for a deadly recession and everything is gonna crash hard. Reinvesting into a mix of income ETFs and keeping some just as cash earning about 3% interest. Planning on buying a house or apartment after real estate crashes hard.
Anonymous (ID: RPugHtTl) No.60773504
how about selling just your stake rewards?
