Where is that 200k situated and how about the rest of your NW? Contrary to the NW troll posting you seem to be doing pretty well financially. You have a nice set of potential options moving forward.

Just ride out the unemployment money then look for a job. I was in the same situation last year for about 8 to 9 months. You're missing out on future gains, but not significantly so.

You're basically getting a "mini-retirement" right now. Enjoy it while it last because it's right back to the wage cage once it's up. Try not to burn through too much money as well. It sucks but that's what it's there for.

Why will you be unemployed until next year? Did someone give you a hard guarantee that you will work again by then or what?

This. Grab like 5k of your net worth and flip useless or pepe or something, bring some cheap financial-driven anxiety and adrenaline into your life. And go play a Dark Souls game if you haven't already those keep you busy for a good while.

You must be underage. Unemployment money from the state usually lasts about 6-12 months. He's saying he has unemployment until next year not a job.
