Women subconciously seek men with traits that make them good protectors / providers. They subconciously need men who have an 'aura of power' to them.

It takes more than just a high IQ to make it. You have to be anti-social too, because in order to make gains you have to be ahead of the curve, and to be ahead of the curve means you act in ways and take risks that your peers don't understand, making them dislike you.

Not only are women more likely to be closer to average on the IQ spectrum, but they're also way more likely to be hyper aware of their social status and position. So the likelihood that they meet all the required criteria is extremely low.
