Here's an investment question, anons.
Let's say, through the lottery or inheretince or by whatever other means, you suddenly came into possession of a smooth 100 million USD. What would you invest in the maintain this dosh throughout your lifetime and into subsequent generations?

Personally, I'd invest pretty heavily into investment bonds. You wouldn't make a lot, necessarily, but as far as I know it's pretty much the safest long-term investment option, assuming the US doesn't become a pariah in the next 20 years.

if you have $100m you can literally just buy a house or two, a reliable car, and put the remaining $99m into investment bonds like you said and live off the interest and then some

actually, there is some nuance to it. you don't want to only hold bonds because governments can default and currencies can become worthless. some gold, bitcoin, and companies you think are good companies would be wise to have

Nuclear. Mini reactors. Fusion also. Ai architecture, data centers. Play the four year game with btc a few times. The rest I would put into etfs or something diverse and safe.

The world is unstable, you want to minimize your cost of living since it's an ongoing cost. If shit falls apart, you don't want to be raped spending 1m for some food, or worse.
So invest in a homestead + underground bunker, that will give you the ability to be fully capable of independently surviving and thriving at a moments notice.
Better yet, have a private jet and a runway on your property and multiple homesteads+bunkers in another countries.

Seeing as how I will get immediately tax raped for 43.3% of that, I will put half the remainder into something that will safely net me 5% a year. The other half will go toward a McMansion with a pool and also getting my truck professionally restored (99 Silverado has seen better days after 250000+ miles).
