My worry was if I die so I got a security deposit box with detailed instructions on what to do if I die.

That's not so bad
When I opened my mouth, everyone in my family started treating me like I was rich and asking me for money because “I had plenty to spare” and I had only said that I was holding bongo and frogs, even the normies think that you can make it with any bullshit

Don't ever tell anyone shit
First you have the leeches
But most of all, you have the thieves, scammers, etc...
This is a real problem and concern if you have a lot of money. Like you really need to be fucking careful even more with crypto. I get scam attempts twice a month for being on the ledger leaks and for working as a dev occasionally on web3 projects. People have been calling me, mailing me, sending me real letters trying to scam me sometimes in elaborated ways
If you are in 6 figs + crypto territory, consider yourself high risk for kidnapping scams hack etc

Just when ever money subjects come up he acts strange. Idk how to put it. Doesn't want my advice but does. Is dismissive yet jealous. I just kind of gave up trying to give any advice or anything but idk now if that's going to be received negatively.

Not necessarily. It just means you don't have anybody you can trust with that information. Which sucks for you.

My best friend and I probably have a similar networh with his likely being higher. But he came from money and would never say how much he has because he thinks it's taboo. I really don't care about talking shop with him, and don't care about getting into exact figures if it's relevant. I'm sure I could coax it out of him, but he's also a supreme autist.

tell someone, maybe the russian mafia is reading this and they are going to your house to rip off your balls so you give your keys, you'll be lying dead and your family won't know what even happened, police will assume you asked money to some russian loan sharks and you couldn't pay back

/biz/, when would you tell your gf that you have money? It's supposed to be the girl you love and wanna spend your whole life with right?

I'm in low 7 figs and haven't told her but at some point I feel like I'm betraying her trust by keeping her in the dark.

My "friends" kind of treat me like shit, so I decided I'm going to reveal my power levels and expose my crypto net worth. I'll find a way to show it off and watch them seethe. I'd leave if I had a better group of friends.

You can fuck around doing vain shit to find out.
Some people will treat you in a completely new way so you get to learn how to interact. After that you can go back to your slumlord ways with just a new perspective and confidence on how to act

If it is relevant, if it's irrelevant there is no point. Just live a comfy life with your gf dude she isnt retarded. And if she does have an intellectual disability diagnosis maybe treat her extra nice ok pal

so far people speaking perfectly with no accents calling me, spoofed numbers, they know private infos. Recruitment scams / human tricking scams to try to get me to install github repos with hidden malware injection. Also fake paper letters to my napme. People sending email pretending to be someone up your hierarchy.
I don't consider myself high risk but i'm more exposed due to my linkedin and also the ledger leaks (but those are really easy scams to avoid). If i had a lot of money in crypto assets i would definitively shut the fuck up about it. I would be worried about physical extorsion, + relentless scamming attempts. even if you dismiss 100 of them, the 101 might work somehow if you aren't paying attention or emotionally messed up and bam you got some malware or some shit
Some kid in the area had 200k and ended up being murdered for it, killers got caught. They just heard about it and thought it was an easy score.

Point is, when you have money, you have to be aware that lot of people are willing to take it from you by any mean they can

don't tell her anything, if you get married one day simply tell her "oh honey, I got some real nice money in crypto!"we're rich!" girl won't even know what a crypto is but she'll be happy and she'll believe you just got rich recently and love you even more for sharing, tell her when you actually cash out your money otherwise she'll be nagging all the time, maybe you get hacked your GF will hate your guts because you lost your money

Have fun being duct taped to a chair and having your fingernails ripped out with pliers until you give up your private keys
Get better friends and learn to be a better person, yourself.
