They have no idea. I'm thinking about getting a freelance medical writing job so they won't know I'm early retired.

no, but they know how much I make.
Anonymous (ID: AGt4YehF) No.60783651
Nope. They probably think I'm dirt poor because I still live at home with no car and only work a part time job that I ride my old ass bike to.

My dad and I both invest at this point and he knows I didn't cash out a year's worth of money because I believe the project has more gas in its tank. We'll see whose path has more success but either way we'll be working together to prepare for the future.

They know. I have 0 after having it all rugged on shitcoins and still live with them. I had to beg them to help pay my bills. It's so over for me

Yeah, but they don’t see crypto as real money, so to them I’m just some autistic kid flexing with Monopoly bills.

Wouldn't it be easier to just tell them you have a freelance writing job instead of actually getting one?

Nope. My brother is dating a latinx and ever since that whore appeared in my family I stopped talking about money. I always complain about inflation. She hangs around many colombians and I just don't trust them. People talk. People hear things. And one day you get whacked by a fucking venezuelan. Fuck them. Fuck my brother.

they think they know how much i have
which is better than leaving them in the dark

if they knew the real figures they would be envious and that is not a good family dynamic

My parents know I have 15 btc, but they're such boomers that they don't think it's enough to retire off of so they are still bitching at me to get a job

No, I don't talk to my family, but my semi-normie friend always wants to brag about his income (~60k) to me and I have to nod along with him like "ah yeah man that's pretty good for your age." He asked what I have in savings one time and I just told him 10k since that's slightly less than what he has.

This is just good common sense. Good for you having the common sense to not be discovered chopped up and stuffed down a toilet. Personally I don't trust any ethnicity since anybody can turn savage once they think that you're outperforming them.

you need to pretend that you are broke as well to be safe. ask your brother for money to pay rent. pay it back in batches after you "got your wage". put up ads to pretend that you're trying to sell stuff. stop talking about inflation. pretend that you eat out every day. pretend to consoom and purchase "expensive" normie stuff like large TVs, let them know about it, then return it without them knowing it.

nope. parents think crypto is some scam. i'm not going to tell them that it's 90% of my portfolio. i might tell them when i cash out in profit. if i don't then it's over for me anyway.

My parents do, nobody else does.
Parents have their moments of retardation but at the very least they never asked me money, I have to admit I'm very blessed for that. Makes me want to give them something back once I'm out 6 figs hell.

Where did you guys learn what to invest your money in?

I invested 5 years ago when I was in uni. Graduated and started working, and now I want to invest properly.

the exact amount, no, but my pops set up my investment account for me when I first started my job so he's got an idea of how it's going, and my siblings ask me for money every once in awhile so they have an idea that I'm doing ok

I blabbed some about getting into BTC to a few people. Now I try not to talk about it at all. Thinking at some point this cycle I'm going to pretend like I sold and am staying out now.

One of the best things I did for myself was stop listening to my parent's advice on literally anything at all. Wish I had done it much sooner.

Is this a thing? Do parents ask their children for money? Why though? I'm always curious about this dynamic. How does this even happen?

>Don't have a job
>gf doesn't either
>They buy our groceries for us
>I have $1.5m in crypto
>Even if they did know, they'd probably still support us anyway because they know the economy is fucked and just appreciate that I take care of their daughter

I told my parents roughly how much I have because I wanted them to stop worrying about my finances. Now they're nagging me to get into real estate. It sucks.
