The main line is one of the richest parts of the country. Drive 15 minutes northwest and that same house is 450k

That's still mainline

That’d be a great property to buy to go metal detecting.
I think I’m gonna buy something in south Philly you can still get a shitty rowhome for cheap and there aren’t too many niggers if you’re south enough.

How the hell do they even get the house insured? Has to be a surplus line of insurance, which is expensive AF.

My house insurance was dropped after an agent came out and took pictures of the nearby trees.

I shopped around and every single company had a clause protecting them from nearby trees deemed hazardous.

No it isn't. It's Montgomery County...like Collegeville (still expensive) or Royersford (not quite as expensive)

>>60784133
Collegeville and royersford would be going directly north not following the mainline northwest

Metal detecting is generally horrifically boring. I do it basically as meditation while listening to podcasts or audiobooks

>slowly waddle around for hours
>Find nothing but bottle caps and pennies

A place like valley forge though you can wander around with the fantasy of finding revolutionary war stuff like musket balls, shoe/belt buckles, buttons, pins, etc.

That said, even that stuff isn’t especially valuable or interesting and it will be tarnished and ugly. Metal detecting is a very stupid hobby that I love.

The main line runs from like Malvern to the city, so depending on where you're starting from, north and northwest could both be true. Regardless, 15 minutes in either of those directions takes you out of the main line area. Stop being contentious.

> the expansive, house-length deck, where mature trees elegantly pass through the decking for a peaceful, treehouse-like feel
What the actual FUCK? What happens when the trees die and need to be cut down? What happens when they keep growing? Did they build the house around the trees or did they build the house first, plant the trees and cut holes in the deck and roof?

The trees are probably 100yrs old obviously the house came latter and by mutt construction standards the house wont outlive those trees or outgrow them
