you just estimate it. Do your best. If you underpay no biggy you just pay the remainder when you file your taxes. If you overpay they will pay you back. You can send in extra if you’re worried about any interest.

Why is it in year of our lord 2025 the fucking irs can't just send bills instead of making everyone do all this math for the privilege of losing money? Is it a humiliation ritual thing? Or just an excuse for accountants to exist (they shouldn't)?
