If Bitcoin really replaced the dollar as the dominant currency it's value wouldn't even be expressed in dollars

It's never gonna happen, so why do you care?

Indeed it would need to be much bigger before that happens.

Sure it would. Just like how zimbabwe dollars still exist even though they are completely worthless, the dollar will still exist even though it is completely worthless.

Also with the way bitcoin is currently coded it cannot be used as a global currency. The energy costs would be out of this world high. There are fees and it would be way too slow.

Bitcoin is never going to be a currency. You can just get that idea out of your head. Even bitcoin maxis have given up on it. They say its a store of value now.

What is the dollar's value expressed in? That's right, houses for the rich and burgers for the poor. One sat is one burger.

Hugely wasteful.

A digital currency has to be efficient.

Having something like an insurance product in a country that previously had no proper method to enforce contracts is life changing.

>bro check this out we reinvented document sending, so basically you connect your bank to defi then you deposit cash onto their exchange and then buy tokens, see these are smart contracts which make your work more intelligent. Then you attach the file in the browser and hit send. The fees are really low too!! The lowest.

Everyone will continue to use national currencies for day to day spending because "it just werks".
Crypto will probably replace bank transfers though because even now after over a decade of bitcoin existing, banks still haven't figured out how to make it cheap and fast to send money across borders.

>no proper method to enforce contracts is Iife changing.
Why would they abide by a digital yoohoo when they ignore contract laws. Just because a phonescreen says a number or words doesnt give it any more or less authority than a title which would be unenforced anyway. Plus you smell jewish/pooish/like literal cancer so maybe thats why you're pushing scamtokenery on gentiles

>banks still haven't figured out how to make it cheap and fast to send money across borders.
Bank didnt figure it out because it cuts into their profits. But Private institutions have figured it out.

We are in the inbetween phase where the incumbent banks are still holding onto their legacy systems and the new system is still emerging.

Crypto is for 3rd world scammers like jews and poos. Banks created digital currency to further enhance fractional reserve lending; tokenizing adds another layer of rehypothecation.

They will transition everyone to using a Stablecoin which is valued 1:1 for the countries Fiat. That way the prices for everything remains the same.

The stablecoins will run on an underlying crypto network.

Banks didnt create cryptos. They were too slow. Even JP morgons CEO said they could have done them but they didnt. Because they are incumbents and the progress comes from the technology sector, not banks.

Anyway howabout e-gold
Oh and tether mints close to 60 stablecoins for every dollar despite claiming a 1:1 backing, stable coin issuers are extremely under-collateralized. Anyway im all in on e-gold tokens so

Tether is a scam. The recent legislation is for fully backed stablecoins.
