Are we seriously going to pretend that the idea that radicalized democrat politicians would NEVER try to make the Trump administration look bad by altering data or lying through omission? I mean, I don't know the truth here and neither do you, but judging by previous incidents and hoaxes the democrats have perpetrated that have been proven to be falsehoods, I'd say there is at least a 50% chance that everything the current administration is accusing the democrats of actually did happen. So them wanting to double check the data seems completely reasonable to me.
