Apple is next. Expect the announcement this week. Does anyone know if the apps can be disabled suddenly, as in nobody would be able to access specific wallets and any USDC token accounts associated with them become frozen ect? Apk or not what if there's some way for the apps to no longer run any more. Are we about to see a Mt Gox/FTX event for wallets? The "not your keys, not your coins/tokens" statement must have reached the right eyes to make thus change. Am I tripping or does this really seem like the end of an era?

No it should be fine, as will Electrum, Exodus, Trust, etc.
They are custodial wallets meaning you have the private keys. This change should only effect non-custodial wallets, which means crypto exchanges, and the major exchanges will be fine.
It's the scam exchanges that will be most affected.
Don't keep your crypto on exchanges anyway, it's a huge risk
