it's HLNE. I haven't done any dd on them specifically and I don't know what they do, but it's something that turned up when I ran my new idea through the FinViz screener. Of the 5 stocks that I bought, it's been doing the best. For all I know, it could collapse tomorrow, but I wanted to share so you all can marvel at my brilliance if it pumps or point and laugh at me if it dumps.

Sure, I mean, I'm in the market too. But most importantly, listen to the few autists that bother writing and putting down the numbers, something nobody does, nor even specialized journalists and analysts that are in bed with these companies, nor investors, just because lines go up and can only go up. The good thing about autists is they love numbers, for some reason.
Just know that the next dip won't stop at a mere -10% or -15% nor a mere -20%. That's all you need to know, really.

And palantir is way more absurdly overvalued, nobody knows what they do but daddy trump pumps their ass with multibillion contracts just 1 trading day before earnings so it pumps to the moon. The 2008 bubble bursted in 2008, but some people realised the risk of the subprime systemic risk in 2005. Its not a matter if AI is going to explode, its a matter of when. And being too early on calling bullshit would only destroy your money, despite being absolutely right.

She said you "have to be on teams until the end of the day". What's actually really funny is that it took her 7 weeks of doing nothing saying she was getting me access to the innermost file vault, then the supervisor found out I didn't have access and got it done in a single day. Showing up (or rather, since she is wfh 2-3 days a week, appearing to show up) is more important to her than actually doing her fucking job.

What's weird i that I've done it 3 times and RH has never banned me from ipos. I don't see anything else good IPOing this year anyway (lol Klarna) so I don't really care. And since they only let you buy like 500 dollars worth of shares no matter how much you ask for it doesn't even matter if it dumps down 10% or whatever and triggers my stop loss. But damn I should have held onto my CRCL. The one time I don't sell immediately, I didn't benefit.

AMD also have a chance of taking market share
Ultimately, yes, the bubble is real. But it lies in companies like Meta et al., CRWV, PLTR (altho this is propped up by (((them)))).
Itβs just common sense that accumulating leaders in chip design/budget chip design, and data centre infrastructure are inherently de-risked compared to all the βWe Got A.I.β companies.
Obviously if bubble pops, demand will fall, and so all of the aforementioned tickers will fall too.
Nonetheless, AI isnβt going away, its after your job. You need to apply some holistic critical thinking if you want to stand any chance of making it.
Or just buy bitcoin (the gay option)

If you feel spicy, BTBT shifted to a hybrid play between being an ETH treasury and also being the datacenter provider for Cerebras, a hardware designer that makes fuckhuge wafer sized chips for AI. Well, they partnered with Enovium, but Bit Digital bought them out.
Over the past few days, this stock has had immense institutional investment at the days before earnings, which is tomorrow. It's a literal "magic $3 AI stock" that is currently trending.
This stock has been stuck in $3.00 hell for weeks and it's going to pursue dilution to get more shares to try to outdo Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy). It's a perfect retard play if you want to let it sit for a bit.

So I bought shit like coke and SCHD and my money sat there rotting to inflatin with a 2.9% dividend yield, when VOO has like a 1.2% dividend anyways

Basically: all of the companies are burning money to build AI infrastructure that will most likely never generate enough revenue to cover even a fraction of the costs.
What does it mean? Unless they find a way to effective productize AI and start making WAY more money selling "AI services", they're probably going to have to write off a lot of this investment. It's hard to say how much it will affect the stocks. Huge companies waste tons of money doing dumb shit all the time. They cancel projects, write down acquisitions, sell real estate at a loss, etc...
I guess the question is: how long can this go on? Which company will be the first to *blink* and say "we're slowing down our AI investment". Once one does, the rest will follow, and the whole bubble will collapse pretty quick. Don't be in SOXL when that happens.

Well, the difference is metaverse was something that Zuck wanted to do, and supposedly believed in, but no one else. Everyone else thought it was a joke. It's why META's stock got punished... the investors didn't want their money wasted on that. With AI though... EVERYONE is all in: company leadership AND investors. That's the reason it can go on much longer: the company leaders are probably aware that they're wasting money, and they're trying desperately to monetize their AI crap... but they can't slow down because everyone else is full speed and it's what the tech and business media and investors expect, supposedly. Whoever blinks first will get punished hard, but once the cat's out of the bag... the rest will follow.
Also I'll add, in my own experience: there is nothing else. If the companies stop building and hyping AI, they have no new big thing to pivot to. Looking back, it was: .com, then web 2.0, then social, then mobile, then mobile-social, then crypto, and now AI. No one really sees what could be next once this dies out, so they're going to milk it as long as it can go.

Guys isn't SOXS supposed to be around $3?
Did kikerexion do some more split bullshit?
I'm genuinely spooked and the last 3 times I told myself I'd load up on SOXS when it was cheap I didn't. Regretted it every single time.
The market is highly irrational right now and I need a hedge, too much nvda and tech exposure in general

I do not think the real purpose is to generate revenue, just compute power for weapons and control by the government against other countries and its own citizens. The very large data sets (and getting larger) and complex "AI models" need a lot of resources especially if you need real time analysis to fight "China's" cyber attack, track and destroy incoming missiles, and control the battle space for aircraft, drones, ships, subs for an all out war. Plus they need many backup data centers for backups and backup of backups.

Well the problem is AAPL is actually stupidly far behind everyone else. There's probably a sweet spot where companies have SOME AI in their products just for simple stuff. Like, LLM AIs, in their current form, will probably never be enough to replace a whole call center or engineering team... but they can definitely do some helpful things like summarize messages, help you write emails, and answer basic questions. Basically... what ChatGPT can already do for free. And from what I hear AAPL can't even get theirs to reliably do any of that. I haven't used it though, so idk for sure. They're trying though, so they are spending some money on it.

Tech companies have such little overhead that they will accumulate cash that does nothing which eventually becomes a liability. Investors want exponential returns like tech companies always get, so they are obligated to throw as much of that capital as they can at whatever will stick, and investors donβt always care as long as the company is using its money in some way. You thought todayβs bonds and stocks looked unappetizing to invest in, imagine what these tech companies are looking at. There is literally nothing to invest in right now and they need to do something with the money. AI is the only thing.

Also, no, it is business. They need to show AI investment because the sentiment is that whichever company has the best and most AI in their products will basically take over entire industries. For example: if say Salesforce gets the best AI tools, then every company will switch to using Salesforce, fire their sales teams, replace them with Salesoforce agents, all other CRM companies will go bankrupt, and Salesforce will just rake in the cash.
That's never going to happen, LLMs are just not capable enough to do that... but the hype train is already in motion.
I could keep going, but I have to shower. I finished my run like a half hour ago and I've been sitting in my own sweat the whole time typing these posts.

>Basically: all of the companies are burning money to build AI infrastructure that will most likely never generate enough revenue to cover even a fraction of the costs.
no one in this thread understands whats really going on, whether or not ai actually returns anything does not matter for the next several years
People here keep spouting ai bubble ai bubble and comparing it to dotcom crash but no one actually bothered to learn how dotcom crash happened in the first place
A big proponent to the dotcom bubble was because no one wanted to RISK getting left behind, it didn't matter whether it would give them returns immediately or not, it was basically INSURANCE to buy internet, because if you didn't your company was going to fall behind and go OBSOLETE. INTERNET WAS THE BIG THING
and NOW AI AUTOCOMPLETE IS THE BIG THING. If you were microsoft or apple or google and you see what elon has just done grok4, you would be panicking too because you dont want fucking elon of all people to end up with a monopoly and ruling the world, regardless of what you think about elon or tesla or whatever, the fact that he has a shit ton of money to burn for AI means he can get ahead if everyone else is sleeping
so basically even if ai wont give them revenues in return for whatever capex budgets theyre burning, none of the megacaps can RISK being left behind. You have to remember that risk management comes into play here, it isn't just tulip mania and delusion going into these megacaps, all these fuckers have access to more money and brains than any of us. All of them know they could end up like Intel if they're retarded and complacent (ASML etc)
YES. This are red flags to a bubble forming, but key word there, FORMING. For all we fucking know, the bubble pops a few years later and it'll st ill be higher than what SPY is now, same fucking shit happened when Greenspan called the fucking dotcom bubble.. in 1996 fucking dumbasses

or end of 1999 when the buying started drying up and Q4's for a shit ton of dotcom ended up being garbage (clean up q1,q2,q3 and push all dirty expenses to q4 etc)
it's so fucking easy nowadays, you could probably fucking ask ai itself to just organize all the earnings results for you and figure out if the bubble is just starting or not
look for growth, no one gives a shit about net income when hypergrowth is all about pumping up SG&A R&D whatever shit thatt will cut your bottom line but massively increase your topline.
topline is all that matters, you can cut down expenses later to grow your bottom line, thats what institution wants and will push for you dont have a choice as a retail faggot

Don't assume, verify. Check to see the price or average price she paid per share, how many shares she has. ATT is paying $1.11 per share. How many shares? If enough the dividends is free money to you which you can reinvest in companies formed this century and make some money or reinvest back into ATT.

I'd put like 20% into VOO or whatever, 10% into sectors or metals etc, only ever gamble with 1-2%, and dump the rest into bonds or money market, get some low risk returns. Then, every 2 or 4 weeks, move some from the cash into the index fund. This gets you immediate exposure and allows you to DCA in

something does not look right. Just looking at T which is the current ticker for ATT (you need to verify these ticker symbols on our pic) mom had 12,200 shares, current price is $28.40 per share so thats $346,480 current value and $13,500 per year in dividends. But on your pic the current total value is way too low so its not clear if its really ATT. Be SURE to carefully look into this you never know if he broker is faking the numbers, or someone else is to rip you off.

200k between QQQI, SPYI and ULTY will easily beat that.
Lately I'm quite liking BTCI, I should have bought more.
But also I'm getting spooked and I'm seriously considering cashing out a lot of these.
Divvys are great but not at the cost of losing 30% in a market dump. I would be forced to buy and average down, CC funds have a hard time recovering.

>PALANTIR
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to invest in Palantir. The company itself is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of machine learning and data structuring most of the tech and its applications will go over a typical investors head. There's also societys nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into a dystopian high tech future- this philosophy draws heavily from Orwellian literature, for instance. The PLTR investor understands this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this company, to realize that they're not just a company- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike PLTR ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the inclination in what PLTRs CEO said when he said, "We believe in augmenting human intelligence, not replacing it," which itself is a cryptic reference to Huxleys magnum opus Brave New World. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Alexander Karp's genius wit unfolds itself on their brokerage sites. What fools.. how I pity them.

i have had this discussion with you at least a dozen times over the past two months. i will literally be 100% cash until the bear market ends because even divvy slop gets heemed. you think a VZ or KO isnt going down too in a recession? they do every time. they fair better, as in -20% instead of the market's -30%. Think im fucking with you? go back to 08 or even 22 and watch your precious divvy shits drop too. there's a graph that's passed around that dividend investing goes into bear markets better than growth, but growth comes out of bear markets better than divvies do. and growth beats divvy in bull markets the entire time. Cash outperforms divvies in bearmarket because your principal eats shit.
yieldmax isnt even a dividend, its a distribution. i can manage my own options, enjoy taking all the risk and none of the reward for someone else's gambling. you pay fees, I pay your mom for some muff

Like I told you before, if it were easy, EVERYONE WOULD BE DOING IT. I can guarantee you are not the first person to have this idea and try it out. In fact, I fucked around with it earlier this year with MSTY and NVDY. Its far too much risk, and barely any reward over time. Just stop shilling it, and just do it, and in 6 months to a year if it worked out for you, then I will allow you to shill it and call us all out for being retards. Until then, SHUT THE ACTUAL FUCK UP.

And why the fuck are you trying to loop 2 YMs retard. The whole point is taking the high yield and converting to stable NAV, then taking the low yield and laddering it.
You just dont fucking get it. 30% of a portfolio just spitting out divvys while you do your other investing. Let's you take more risk on options.
And yes I know about distros vs divvys, thats another reason for the loop.and why schd and JEPI/q are involved despite the shit yield and performance.

I had a coworker big into stocks and he was really wanting to get into the yield maxes. he was a boomer and entranced by the distributions, like all boomers are, and I told him over and over. He didnt listen, but I did get him to buy a smaller amount. In exchange i bought 10 dollars just to see what it would do. I bought in july 2024 and sold last month. my 10 eroded to about 5, and the distributions didnt amount to more than 5, so it was something like 9, a -10% loss. Literally embarassing. even DRIP wouldn't have saved it. it may have even made it worse.
needless to say, yield shit is not worth it, because I have done it. buying the underlying is far more worth it, you can even get your guaranteed returns since some of them pay diviends.
Im noticing a trend that yieldmax does their scheme on tickers with a lot of meme energy. Maybe they are selling CCs to redditors and indians on these tickers?

I genuinely agree with you, throwing all your money into YM funds like plebbit is doing is retarded.
But again, ULTY works differently after April.
The YM scheme is rugging early investors then "changing strategy". It works.
The single other YM that i think is worthwhile is msty because of buttcorn meme pumps. BTCI has a superior approach but you might as well take advantage of MSTYs yield.
All you have to do is:
>never buy a fund that's less than a year old.
>never blindly drip.
For example, I'm quite interested in MAGY, but its too new. If I buy now I will get fucked. If/when it stabilzes I will consider it.
Only buy ULTY on wed and thurs

Current S&P500 Shiller PE is 39.
Apex of the dot com bubble was a Shiller PE of 44.
Reaching 44 is roughly 800-850 points from the current levels. So around ~13%. We're certainly not in 1996, 97, 98 or 99. We're closer to 2000.
Oh and back then there weren't tariffs and wars and instability everywhere, global trade was as fluid as it could be.

During the apex of the dot.com bubble we didn't have juggernaut trillion $ tech giants that kept beating their earnings quarter after quarter. The Shiller PE ratio is completely worthless to judge the intrensiv value of the index because there has been a paradigm shift. The S&P500 today simply holds better, far more resilient, higher quality companies than it did in 1999. These companies have been tested by several black swan events in recent years. Covid, inflation, tariffs, trade wars and real wars and they still always keep on beating earnings. At some point, better against them is just foolish.

>Sold my Mantle (MNT) crypto too early
>Wonder why it pumps harder than others even though it does not have as many transactions as other chains-token I own etc blabla
>knew that MNT had some partnership with Bybit (exchange)
>See that on Bybit there now are specific leveraged products to bet on MNT that have not been there a week ago or so iirc.
>So likely whales (somewhat proven by DappRadar which shows you how much money is being moved and transactions etc per Chain and MNT has disproportionally much transfered $-volume in relation to Users and Transactions) pumping their own shit while buying leveraged products

P/E ratios seem more like an indication of how hard something could crash if it does then a measurement of of the probability of it's crashing. The other anon is right that this ratio doesn't really matter if the revenues keep growing quarter after quarter (though obviously if the rate of growth is unsustainable in the long-run, it's going to crash sooner or later).

>At some point, better against them is just foolish.
Someone will. They can't help it. Honestly bears should specialize in biotechnology or something because most of them fail.
