It’s just common sense that accumulating leaders in chip design/budget chip design, and data centre infrastructure are inherently de-risked compared to all the “We Got A.I.” companies.
Obviously if bubble pops, demand will fall, and so all of the aforementioned tickers will fall too.

Well, the difference is metaverse was something that Zuck wanted to do, and supposedly believed in, but no one else. Everyone else thought it was a joke. It's why META's stock got punished... the investors didn't want their money wasted on that. With AI though... EVERYONE is all in: company leadership AND investors. I do not think the real purpose is to generate revenue, just compute power for weapons and control by the government against other countries and its own citizens. The very large data sets (and getting larger) and complex "AI models" need a lot of resources especially if you need real time analysis to fight "China's" cyber attack, track and destroy incoming missiles, and control the battle space for aircraft, drones, ships, subs for an all out war. Well the problem is AAPL is actually stupidly far behind everyone else. There's probably a sweet spot where companies have SOME AI in their products just for simple stuff. Like, LLM AIs, in their current form, will probably never be enough to replace a whole call center or engineering team... but they can definitely do some helpful things like summarize messages, help you write emails, and answer basic questions.
