Prigo's war was against the russian mod (Guerasimov etc). He never said anything bad about Putin. He thought that Putin was being lied by his generals (and he was right) and he thought that this would save him. The whole coup thing was never against Putin, but obviously you cant assault Moscow, shoot down a few helis/planes (including one full of officers) and get away with it. No, corruption should be fought but if someone makes it a central point in a discussion he is either a populist politician or an idiot. People should care about electricity or gasoline prices which affect your wallet not only directly, but as an added price to wares from factories and services from infrastructure.
