how dominos scams you
so I worked at dominos for about a week before quitting thinking doing deliveries part time would be a better side gig than door dashing but I hated it.
Anyways I learned something interesting while working there. No matter how many toppings you pay for you are getting scammed. Basically the policy is that 1 topping gets you the full topping amount. But let's say you pay extra for 2 toppings, well then you get HALF the full amount of both those toppings combined.
The same applies to 3 toppings, 4 toppings etc.
3 toppings = 1/3rd the full amount of each
4 toppings = 1/4th the full amount of each.
So basically you're paying extra for the additional toppings but with each additional topping you pay for, you're getting less of each topping.
It's amazing to me that this is even legal. And this wasn't just our store policy or something, this was actually instructional material produced by dominos and posted above the cook line.
I will say that most the cooks don't pay much attention to the policy however and just use the same standard size scoops for each topping without following the policy to reduce each topping when additional toppings are added.
But in dominos ideal world it would always be the case that you pay more for essentially nothing. Corporate would even send charts to the store saying that they're using 300% too much of this topping or 500% too much of another. Insane.

I'd like the thank the retards from Deloitte, E&Y, and PWC for this impressively retarded business practice of shorting toppings but making it an annoying extra step for the line cooks who just ignore it.
These are the best and brightest, ladies and gentlemen. Some nepobaby spent hours making slides to justify the operational savings of this practice.
Let's all laugh at him.

We got Dominoes recently for the first time in years for our kids bday party. I noticed the sparse distribution of the toppings immediately. Seems like it was not like that before. It's amazing how lame things are getting in daily life. You would think in a culture that is tailor made to produce fat stupid rubes, that at least they would be loading up the goyslop food with tons of delicious fattening additions, especially when you pay extra for it. But no, you get meager offerings of cheese sprinkled bread that just makes you fat through a series of bland chemical additives.

too many toppings prevents the crust from cooking through
i am autistic and took a job at papa johns about 15 years ago
i stayed about a week
the thing that people should know about pizza but dont is the "short slice"
what nearly every pizza guy does (specifically to delivery pizzas) is makes the normal amount of slices (as seen by the green lines in pic related) then makes one final cut (the blue line) and eats the small slice of pizza they have created
the reason why nobody gets caught is because they push the pizza together and the residual heat causes the cheese to stick back to one another
yelled at a guy during covid over this
also if anyone is looking to experiment you should try using different sauces, alfredo sauce with chicken on top is great and peanut butter pepperoni pizza is so much better than it has any right to be
try using chinese food sauces, say you like orange chicken, use orange sauce top with breaded chicken. you can make broccoli beef pizzas or anything you can think of. if there is any dish that has a sauce, you can make that dish into a pizza

Facts:
>Pizzas used to be bigger, no matter what size you ordered
>The crust was never spongy, the cheese was always pully like in the ads
>There was way, way, WAYYY more sauce, sometimes it would overpower the other ingredients
>They used to use bacon that looked like actual fucking bacon
>Their delivery websites were at least 2x faster than they are now
Oh and I distinctly recall a time when cheesesticks were just objectively better than pizza once in a while. Like you would take a bite of pizza, take a bite of cheesestick, and instantly conclude that the pizza was mid and tell everyone hands off the cheesesticks.

No its not. It takes extra time to measure out the correct ratio while reaching for a different topping. Think about the logistics involved in the making of a pizza. You will never own a business. Plus too much toppings makes the crust disgustingly moist/ undercooked. You will never be a food autist/ artist, either. Get a life dude.

We must adjust to a new standard of living as society becomes more equitable and inclusive. For far too long the west has parasitized wealth from the rest of the world. Whatβs happening is just an equalization of the playing field, your 1st world living way of life was only made possible because 3rd worlders suffered. Not anymore. Now we are to take back what is rightfully ours and you can go cry about it. We are the good guys fighting against the evils of white privilege who believes they are entitled to a high standard of living subsidized by the billions of hard working brown people across this globe

I worked at papa johns and can confirm. They booted me from the make line because id pile toppings on top of the other ones instead of splitting them up to keep the topping volume the same. It irked me because 3x toppings should mean 3 times as many toppings not just a mix of 3 toppings.

>three toppings are only 100% of topping amount

Funny thing is they have encouraged people to only have one topping per pizza by doing this. They should be encouraging them to order more toppings. I realized years ago they do this.
