This indicator is useless. Soon to be worthless software makers and shitty tech companies are overprized. In staples you got crazy buying opportunities right now. General Mills, PepsiCo or Diageo is cheap as fuck right now. Also many mining and oil stocks and other cyclical stuff.

What is this retarded metric lmao.

Those companies are all worthless because the world has realized we are never going to stop printing money and inflation will be 10-20% a year forever. Consumer staples have too many inputs and you can only charge so much for a can of Coke or box of cereal before people tell you to fuck off and just drink water. They're losing pricing power and can't raise prices much higher. There's too many raw material inputs and they all want their extra 20% a year too. The entire industry is practically propped up by food stamps as it is that are about to get cut heavily. Meanwhile tech companies only have labor as an input and can keep replacing employees with pajeets and AI.

Nice next time I'm looking to underperform the S&P 500 I'll be sure to pull up this and some of Buffet's other statistics.

>Meanwhile tech companies only have labor as an input and can keep replacing employees with pajeets and AI
but techs only product is advertising. and all the ads in the world wont mean shit to a tree when the goyim are too tapped out to buy a fucking can of pop. the entire universe of "selling" shit that doesnt physically exist collapses in rapidly if the tangible goods market falters

You are right. They are losing prizing power and are struggling with high energy, labor prizes etc. All that is temporary. Which is why they are on a discount. Also, these companies will benefit a lot from AI, lowering production costs.

I just don't think it's temporary. Will inflation ever slow down? Will people ever go back to buying main brand product once they've used generic for long enough? It's hard to see a future where the middle lower class ever has more purchasing power than they do now, and consumer products go down or even stay the same year to year.

This is really only Google and Facebook and yeah they're fucked for many reasons.

In the end everything always recovers/goes back to normal. Every single time. Even after hyper inflation and world wars. That may take a while, of course. Historically, pessimism and hopelessness at peak levels, has always been the biggest buy signal.

>In the end everything always recovers/goes back to normal

Except the western consumerist dynamics of the last 70 years wasn't normal. We're going back to the normal before that. Multi-generational households, minimalism, home cooked meals from bulk bought ingredients. Cosmopolitan society will die for everyone except wealthy property owners.

buffet is a retard who completely missed crypto because his only 'talent' is scooping up undervalued assets
and it's not even impressive because he literally has too much money to fail
at this point you buy everything you can afford and then sell blow off tops
