How do these companies come out of nowhere and somehow get to IPO and then just make money by creating shares out of thin air?
Can I just make my own e-business out of a rented apartment and then fill the necessary paperwork to IPO? And then can I just dilute on retail to fund my salary and the business in hopes the business succeeds?

Apparently the process itself requires no electricity, just a spark to set the reaction off. So it's net-positive if they capture the heat released and use that to generate electricity.
Bambrough has also talked about how there are huge government grants for production of hydrogen in Germany and parts of Canada, which they could potentially take advantage of.

HGRAF pioneers.
I think you now see the potential this stock has. Some of you doubted it initially when I first shilled it here, others are still skeptical. But we are still so early. On every news release from now until the NASDAQ listing, this stock is going to rerate higher. It should be trading at a mcap of $10+ billion already, and it's going to use every narrative excuse to get there.
Yes, there will be pullbacks, so you should switch over to DCAing so you don't get heemed going all in only for it to correct 50% on you. Because it will. A stock that goes up this quickly is going to be volatile. It takes guts to hold and ride a stock like this. It takes a pioneering spirit to see this through to the finish line. If that's you, congratulations, you've already made it.
I'm still holding my 55,775 shares and I'm not selling. I know I've made it.

And you guys post here asking where to park your money for 20% gains or whatever, and getting to 2 million or something so you can retire. Why in the fuck are you guys not day trading? Don't give me some canned answer about how day trading is impossible. I keep $50k in my brokerage account (all I can spare) and I trade like absolute shit and I make $70 per day trading for 2 hours. Have done so for over 2 years now. I cannot comprehend how some of you guys accrue a pile of $300k or more and CAN'T manage to live off it. With $150k of capital and being 0.1% less retarded than me, you could TRIVIALLY make $400 per day, nevermind $400k of capital or more

Doesn't need to be a big mover, as in, doesn't need to be something that has moved 5% or even 1%, just high volume and a decently healthy ATR. Simply meaning the stock is not dead - it needs to have a little energy in it. But it doesn't need to be undergoing some crazy move either. I trade almost nothing but TQQQ and NVDA, but sometimes AMD or AMZN if they have a little more life in them on a given day for whatever reason.
>>60794433
What's your portfolio size in dollars? I never said I was great at it, but you're a fucking cuck if you have so much capital invested that it swings $10k a day and you just park it in investments and pray for knights in shining armor to buy your shit for higher prices some day. You I assume you must have like $500k invested. You could 100% definitely average like $5k per day, every day, if you would day trade. I make $70 per day but never have a red day except maybe 8 or 9 times a year. No one said you have to predict anything.

Oh and I risk practically nothing. I often trade just 100 shares of TQQQ or NVDA. I just go with my gut but it's very, very rare a trade goes even $50 against me before I get the fuck out. So risking 0.1% tops. It's because I just aim to make $70, and make another $80 via other means for the rest of the day, to cover my cost of living. I have no ambition above that.

Then its time to go BIG and start pulling in some serious cash. Lots of people make a gamble and it pays off big, but they lose it. 1. Don't lose money. 2. Make money. 3, Do not lose the money you made.
I am not talking big, I am small time. I am happy with my gains. I believe any attempt to push it further will result in unacceptable losses. I have some "bets" that if I lose its only about $20k, but the upside is easily 5x-10x. I also put $1 on the lottery once a week, or every other week. That's all the gambling I do.

just going in order...
Luxembourg is a rich financial center but is a micro state.
Norway is an oil nation w/a population smaller than Minnesota.
Switzerland is actually a real country, but still tiny and irrelevant.
Canada does not exist w/o the US.
Austria is a real country, just small.
Belgium is tiny.
Iceland isn't a real country, my hometown has more people than their entire population.
Australia is in the same situation as Canada - basically a US client state.
Netherlands is the first country on this list that I actually respect as a real sovereign state that handles it's own affairs.
Germany is the only country on this list aside from the US that is actually important.
Denmark is like Switzerland but really cold.
Sweden has a lot of land but it's mostly frozen with a tiny population - completely dependent on others for it's national sovereignty.
New Zealand is a US client state.
Ditto for South Korea.
The US really does stand alone. There are no other countries that are 1. Big and 2. Rich. It seems like you either have one or the other. Western and central European countries are rich but small. China and India are big but poor; 90% of Chinese are living on incomes similar to that of Ethiopia. Canada is big and rich but has a tiny population and is mostly uninhabitable.
The US stands alone. How do we fuck ourselves up so often is beyond me.

Day trade or swing trade? What about HGRAF? Did you buy in when it was first shilled? Could have 10x your money already. Is it too late, will it 10x again? That's why its so hard to day trade. To make any real gains you need volatility, but that means you buy and the shit tanks. I was selling options on CRWV and made $5k in one month then the shit tanked. While I was waiting for a better rebound price shit tanked again. Sure I made $5k but now I am down about $9k. Do I care? no, I got time to wait sell more options. My other stocks more than made up for the loss. If you take a loss how does it affect you? Don't gamble more than you can afford to lose.

I do not see a reason to buy or sell just do it. I need believe a move is worth it, and consider the time frame. I threw $1k on HGRAF, hold 1,200 shares. Do not care what it does. I think its funny when people say I don't take enough risk yet get 50% (on average) per year. I had some less productive years. I posted how I met with my broker rep once and he pulled up my risk profile and was like hmmmmmm....ok what are you trying to do? I told him I was a conservative investor and he just looked at me puzzled. Then said your risk profile is so far off the chart the chart has to re-scale to compact the standard indicators over here to the left just to show you "way over here by the legend" on the right.

I have very little strategy. I go for small wins, like $0.25 with 100 shares. I usually go long, rarely short. I trade blue chip shit or TQQQ. I stare at the price when it has been pulling back for a couple minutes, and if it starts to get conflicted, I consider entering. Whether I do or not depends on gut feeling. Or if it's just going up endlessly I'll FOMO in sometimes and it usually works, I just go with my gut on those too. I do anywhere from 3 trades to as many as 10 per day if necessary. I stop around $70 or sometimes cut myself off at 11:30 eastern time if shit isn't really panning out that well. I start to consider getting out when the price goes maybe $0.35 against me, depends on gut feeling too and exactly how it moves.

The portfolio performance app show my risk number was like 43 - I think that is why the broker guy was like "what are you trying to do?" I think he thought I was retarded or he was being punked. I seriously thought I was some super conservative investor. I was trying to reduce the rusk profile by buying some bonds and ETFs and it went up to about 45. I; will look at it tomorrow and see what its doing now.

I don't know how I'd classify myself, I just compile a list of companies with good fundamentals, preferably without dividends and without using leverage, I buy based on their momentum, and I hold until I start finding the price-to-earnings ratio way too high. But I haven't had the opportunity to get to that last part since I pivoted to that strategy last year.

If you own foreign stock I think that drives up your risk profile even if it's a safe company like Nintendo.

not sure if the 2% is just too much for the CRA because im pretty sure the 1% transfer bonus i had before in CIBC would go directly into the TFSA as a "cashback" bonus, not a deposit
the 2% bonus with Webull might just be too much to stay taxfree but at this point i appreciate the 2x cash vs a tax-free bonus since cashflow is my bigger problem. I still haven't maxed out my TFSA

You beat the credit card jews by racking up 40-% or more of your total available debt
Do it if you donr mind payinf fees a month or two. It jut works better if you pay a little.
Then immediately pay it all off.
They will usually increase your limits. They just doubled me limits cause i stopped using them. I use them to make more cash in my stock accounts and currently gaming them for the highest credit limits possible. Probably gonna rack of 40k in debt next year just for lolz
They will be fucking seething when i pay it off right before the end of the month, manually of course
They will increase my limits even more. Just need a couple hundred in available debt. Then i can charge it up before the end of the world and escape to south america eith all the gold

I know. I wanted to meet my rep face to face, get to know more. He asked me about my investor personality, what was it I was trying to do. He brought up my risk profile and zoomed into the seven standard profiles or whatever you call them. I said I was conservative, owned a few large caps, some bonds, some ETFs and he was giving me a blank look. I said yeah I am conservative, on this chart am I like a 3 or 4? he says no dude you are way over here and zooms out and points to the star says your risk profile is 43. Im like that's conservative right? I think its calculated on the low ratings of the stocks that actullay make me money not the 5% per year stuff. I still don't think I am taking that much of a risk though. And I don't think this chart includes the options trading I do.

I like the stock, so a lot. It's about 25k worth, and I usually sell it for a price which would match 1% return in a week. Whatever stock I sell puts on, I make sure it will only be about 10% of my portfolio.
If that is low premium to you feels like you're taking a lot of risk.

ok so about 10 contracts at the current price. How long out 1 week, 1 month, 6 months? I like the 1 or 2 week contracts because of the price swings. If it goes in my favor in a few days (85% or more) I just buy to close and look for something new with the same of different stock.

I'm the HGRAF OG, I never recommended GAMB or GRRR. There were a few posts by other people who reposted everything together since that's what was hot.
In addition to HGRAF, I currently like MRX, UNH and LUNR for entries. I'm also holding gold and uranium miners, but not exactly a low risk entry on those right now.

I never go beyond 45 days. That's when premiums drop.
It's going to depend on the price. I usually go for 1 week, but when the premiums are shit, I go out to 2-3 weeks when premiums are higher due to jobs report, fed cuts, economic data, etc.
From what I understand most people recommend doing 30-45 days and closing out as you said, but I found 1 week around .15 delta works for me.

I've also seen comments on the PPI that were like
>nooo, you see it's not the tariffs, that is a different inflation
ok, but what does it matter? If Inflation is this high and it is not tariffs it's still bad. And not just that, tariffs were at 10% til August. Now they are higher. There still is the high chance there will be price increases.
This shit is again Powell's fault for replying to fuckin journos about how they are trying to look through the tariffs and it's the tariffs why they are not cutting. And since now tariffs wasn't directly the reason for higher PPI, it's just ignored. Even though it should be the opposite since it shows other issues.
Even the yields are falling again a little. Complete capitulation by the Fed.

"Average" doesn't mean anything. There are some people in America who are extremely rich and that jacks up the "average" because they are an outlier
"Median" is more accurate. Also, many of these statistics often break down incomes by households, not individuals. Households can encompass more than one person, they can include the combined income of couples or roommates living in one place
A better number for the "median" in America, for individuals, is around 60k a year. Keep in mind though that America is also an aging population, and acquiring more wealth and higher incomes is more common when you age, because you gain experience, connections, time to grow assets, etc as you get older. The median age in America is 38, to take this all into account.
So yeah these statistics are dumb.

Oh also there's some other stuff to consider too. For example the 60k figure assumes full-time, year-round working Americans. If we include all Americans above 15 who work, that number is closer to around 47k a year
Also, America is a big place. 1/3 of the population comes from 5 of 50 states (California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania). You might live in a rural area and make below 60k a year, but still make the "median" for people in your area, depending on where you live, because more highly populated states are going to be more heavily represented when representing the median.

People here are mostly retards taking the obsolete Intelligent Investor and boomer trading advice seriously, they just larp and never make any money. Day trading and vibe investing is the name of the game in 2025. You can't read a 70 year old book and expect to beat modern trading algorithms

What would your advice be?
It's always easy to criticize, but yes quite difficult to actually offer alternatives.
This is the difference that makes it constructive criticism.

Do nothing until the peace talks then take a short term position. Personally I am optimistic of the talks due to the Russian bond market pricing in a ceasefire. Bond markets is all big money oligarchs who are the real string pullers so if they want out it will happen. Whether it will be lasting is another story which is why I would only hold till end of day

fk I forgot about INFU i wrote that on my sticky note but didnt circle it, prob because i didnt have cash before it started pumping
i crossed out TPCS and AEHR too since they already started their recovery pumps. Glad I caught CXDO at least, AMPL was also weird as fk since it gapped up +20% on earnings so i thought i missed it, but then dumped -10% same day, great opportunity since the earnings was indeed good on growing topline and rest of market overreacted on the negative eps when it's a growth stock
im just reaching for low hanging fruit, ill miss a lot of shit
i think buying IMP.TO after it pumped hard recently is making me just go for other picks that are crabbing, theres plenty around anyways, that said i think IMP has plenty of potential.
for all i know INFU could have stayed crabbing like QIPT the other health stuff i wrote down

It's not what you make, it's what you keep after the boring expenses. It doesn't matter if you make 100k if you have to pay 45k a year in rent, 15k in food, 2500 in utilities, 30k in taxes, and so on.
From that point of view I make about 50k a year (net of taxes and cost of living). 50k of FCF

I think its probably 75% chance of no cut 25% of .25 cut
They looked past the nfp because unemployment remained unchanged and I suspect they will look past the ppi for similar reasons. Both of these prints are direct result of policy(immigration and tarrifs). The ppi will only partially be transferred to the consumer and the analysis i follow thinks it will be very muted until the consumer recovers. The ppi to me was the bigger issue and the fed have stated that they will focus on whatever is the bigger issue. There is a non zero chance of hike but I think the fed will at least signal before doing that so it won't be in September

It's a completely retarded market and I expect the shitty companies to start diluting people soon and the good companies to see their multiple shrink. I sold most of my stuff this week and bought short term bonds.
I'm hoping next week the dump starts because of j POW speech. It's definitely going to be a red fall this year though.

That's not good either way from the investor pov because the margin gets hit.

When it comes to interest rates, inflation is king. No self respecting central bank will put the labor market ahead of inflation. As a central bank you cannot help anyone until inflation is fixed.

What i meant was idk if the fed cares about producer inflation if it doesnt get transfered en masse. If the producers were to slow drip the costs to consumers over a long enough timeframe, then in a sense the inflation is contained. What they really dont want is a spiral. Also they have quite literally stated they will focus whatever problem is more quantitavely severe i.e. they wont priority inflation as a default. If unemployment spikes to 10% and we are still~3% inflation, they will cut
