I’m supposed to write a one page essay of the retirement speech someone is reading for me at the end of my career about all I want to accomplish over it.
What do I say? Literally all I want is to make money so I can buy a nice house get a hot wife and have kids. I don’t give a fuck about making a difference or some shit. And my ideal retirement is just Irish Goodbyeing it.

Then why not write that, if you want to be known for your family and impact on your community through the opportunity provided in your job often times the business will want to hear it. Often times “do nothing jobs” are about enabling the individuals impact on the business outside of their direct job skills. Think personality hires, charitable organizers, ect.

A career isn’t linear anymore. You will go absolutely bonkers working corporate as a grunt worker by year 15 unless you’re a woman or fag npc.
