Why can't this happen to Bitcoin? Bitcucks told me this was impossible for large coins.

It will, but with quantum computers. PoW shills are just lying degenerates who will say anything for a dollar.

Lol, Monero maxis have been saying for years that it would happen to Bitcoin, but that Monero's CPU only mining made it impossible. Retards got played

Kraken will soon detect that bitcoin has the same problem. Close the transactions for our safety. Working as intended right Satoshi?

Satoshi is literally just glowies faggots.
DHS even had a press conference about how there were four satoshis and they have meetings with them.
No one cared.
Why? Because btc sucks huge balls and they just want the number to go up.

See the block distribution stats at https://miningpoolstats.stream/zcash, ZEC is safe despite have 75% of its blocks produced by one pool but XMR is unsafe since it has 40% of its blocks produced by one pool. There is a clear double standard against XMR.

Nobody cares enough to attack ZEC because nobody uses it and kraken probably forgot it existed

Apparently viabtc said that they don’t technically control all that hash power because they only host several mining pools.
Not sure if it’s the same thing but Qubic is publicly bragging about their 51% attack so there’s a huge difference in intention.

Im not brown and i dont have any monero. I just was wondering what this would mean if anything. Just trying to learn. No reason to be rude.
Anonymous (ID: n4ZOwZOB) No.60799591
i only use swaps to buy monero now. cex are unreliable as fuck and will rug you from withdrawing/buying at the worst possible time. yes you pay more with swaps buy when you consider the no kyc and the short duration money leaves your wallet, it’s worth it. for me it’s trocador and retoswap basically. fiat exchanges are just for stables.

>50
technically the highest they got was a bit above 40 but that’s still scary

>>60799499
A 51% attack in theory means the attacker could modify the chain ie the integrity of the chain. They could theoretically double spend, like using the same dollar bill twice for two different purchases if that makes sense. So nothing on chain can be trusted. It doesn’t help that moneros chain is designed to be impossible to investigate

can someone explain, what this qubic is and why they are doing this?

also is monero chain so small that some mining pool can disrupt it so easily?

Anyone who knows how mining actually works knows this "51% attack" is nothing but a social engineering attack based on complete lies and manipulation and does not pose an actual threat to the integrity of the network. There are paid shills funded by different entities trying to capitalize on the fud all over the internet right now.

Monerocucks deserve it, for being against speculation all these years.
Making money out of thin air is a art, and a art that should be respected. Monerocucks instead went /pol/tard, denying gains for their token and calling a "moonboy" anyone who wanted it.
The result was that market participants were able to 51% attack it, something that is not feasible in bitcoin, due to its high cost. This is just one reason why number must go up.
Lesson learned, fucking faggots. Speculation is king. Feels so good to make money out of thin air. Seethe more, /pol/tards! Now clean the floor, wagie.

They are nowhere near being capable of doing a double spend you stupid shill. The only thing this proved is how social engineering and a coordinated misinformation campaign can significantly affect the valuation and sentiment of a coin.
