my annaul dividens estimation is about $24,000 but it cost me a lot. The best way to make real money on dividends is of course long term stock buys on a company that can grow for decades and keep paying dividends and keep slowly increasing the dividend payments. HD pays about $9.20 per share now. If you bought over time thousdands of shares for avg cost of say $20 - 90$ you are doing well. But lots of companies eventually hire a CEO that ruins the company, at least for a time if not permanently. So my comment is these kids make vids as if they have done it and speak from experience when in fact they just create a model and project 30 years out. I have seen many. Rather than someone who actually did and is 50 years old and built their portfolio over 20-30 years. Obviously one way to short cut that is to hit it big on a stock that does 20-100x then buy a diverisifed divident portfolio.

Maybe they are waiting to lure in buyers, but the PCE can only turn out bad (if you are not an eternalbull). And we all know that the PCE is the inflation number the Fed says is their preferred gauge.

Like that screen on the bottom left shows, as it was taken after the PPI release and was basically foreshadowing what the PCE will look like. But I have not seen much talk recently about that. It's weird that they have been doing that and now they don't. Why, I don't know, don't care, it's not like people are not constantly flipflopping on what metric they focus. You got Supercore, Core, supersupercore, 3 month, 6 month, MoM, it's all whatever suits your agenda best.

What I'm saying is the PCE will not look great objectively. What the reaction will be is hard to say. Maybe now after the PPI and CPI came out they'll ramp up the expectations/estimates to 3% et voila, it's not so bad anymore. I mean it's weird nothing happened after that big PPI miss. Will they now simply adjust their estimates for PCE so even a large number will be "in line with expectations"? Basically it's hard to estimate the PCE wrong, when you already have the CPI and PPI numbers, there's not much room for surprise anymore.
