day 266 of growing my charizard collection till it hits $1mil

will crypto ATH's be bullish for pokemon singles/slabs?

modern cards are garbage.
get WOTC era zards like an actual adult.

ok i will take the bait, aren't they constantly printing new ones? how is this not going down in value?

thats like saying dont artists keep making new art? doesnt that make old art go down in value

popular pokemon will always be valuable collectibles

can buy WOTC at any point, they're already rare and had 25 years of pumping

better to buy large amount of modern ones before they get rare then can catch up on WOTC later

I bought a 2017 card for $25 and now its worth $500 raw
nobody gives a fuck about WOTC outside of gold stars and shinies, which are out of reach and will 2x at best from here

however Im inclined to agree that everything post-yellow border (excluding 151) is saturated dogshit

No, reserved list is certain cards from 1999 and before. Foils of 2000s staples can be pretty valuable though, these two are worth somewhat over $300

oh nice, sorry not an expert on the TCG. yeah probably too nice to be investable but if your fav pokemon is Galarian Stunfisk probs just stick to the regular non-Galarian versions, heres a cool one
