I was in the same boat anon, i fell for the hype on /biz/ years ago and invested plenty in it. It literally never, ever, did anything but plateau, then dump, then recover slightly, then slowly drop in price, for years.

I think i sold off the last of my crypto a few months after ETH stopped using gpus to run its network, how's it been since then?
