I wouldn't be able to tell you. I fixated on the acetylene detonation process before I knew the CEO was a woman. I'm more interested in how atmospheric contaminants affect the graphene yield.

It's 99.8% pure, with the 99.9% of the impurities being oxygen, which is actually beneficial since oxygen needs to be added anyway for reactive graphene.

That model looking ceo without actual chemical engineering background, is not gonna be driving down chemical impurities . You can make graphene at home with a #2 pencil and some scotch tape .

The inventor is Dr. Chris Sorenson:

so whats your answer if you were 100% cash right now?
if you put $50k cash into it at 0.50, you have $200k equity now basically.
Would you still buy it at $2/share with all of your $200k cash?
You have to accept that you don't know the future with complete certainty, decide now so you dont have any regrets even if you decide to make that conflict and shoot for $5
Even with that little comment you've just mentiion, do you realize you've completely tunnel visioned and completely disregarded the risk of it even coming back down
you're relying completely on a big name pumping it. It works honestly, I've seen Cielo Waste stay aflot for 8 months precisely since BNN bloomberg was praising the stock back then, I think it was Robert Mcwhirter or something like that back in 2021, it got a huge pump with the TV coverage, but the company itself didnt execute on their bluesky dream promises, still zero revenues to this day
Many such cases sicne 2021 that have never recovered from their no-revenues.
Fundamentals do matter long-term

I would feel very little emotion if anything.
I am really bad at conceptualizing big numbers, so one big profit doesn't feel any different than an even bigger number. Same goes for losses. So long as I don't go into debt, just dust myself off and try again later.
>2) if you don't sell because you want it to go to $20/share, will you end up roping yourself in despair if it ends up dipping back to $0.50?
I would cut my losses and try again elsewhere.
I would require the stock be listed before I make any moves on it. OTCMKT is a graveyard of failing and failed companies.

But we need many tons of it, and scotch tape introduces impurities like the synthetic rubber adhesive, the stuff the adhesive collected, not to mention the trillions of acrylic microspheres they put into the formulation so it's not too sticky.

*even if you decide to make that coinflip
gambling on a coinflip can still make a lot of money, and being too firm on risk management can leave a lot of money on the table
But then ask yourself again, are you risking ruin or is this amount of cash STILL (keyword: STILL because it has gone up a lot already) an amount you can afford to lose?
Big mistake is treating unrealized gains as if it was fake money you can burn with higher risk, it's cash you can liquidate right now on Monday, it's real money

A company that has the potential to go from $2 to $80 over the next 12 months with a NASDAQ listing. That's a 40 bagger from here.
If I had another 40 bagger to buy into right now with low probability of dilution, I would allocate another 10% of my portfolio, so I'd throw another $50k into it.

yeah i mean as long as you have your exit strategy figured out for either scenario then all you gotta do now is let the dice roll where they may
Speculating isnt my thing personally, but I looked at HGRAF for fun anyways as a learning experience
frankly i like to go for plays with more certainty, especially since I'm investing through a TFSA (tax free account) with limited contribution room yearly. I cant just write off gambling losses because i dont pay capital gains taxes in the first place

I am under 1M and I would not invest $50k into a company like HGRAF, would not even if I had $2m that's just gambling. For a serious investment wait until they have proper financing to build out the production capacity and contracts to show demand. Even then its a risk and I would only put say $5k at most. Its just too small and unproven and too early

Funny why everyone is trying hard to convince me to sell HGRAF. I see more green check boxes than red flags. An inexperienced CEO is fine, as long as the 1) the tech is solid, and I trust Dr. Sorenson and the GEIC 2) there's a solid customer pipeline, and in HGRAF's case they have over 60 customers nearing the end of their 18 month research period on NDAs, and will be signing contracts soon.
I want to see how this story plays out.

went through a bit of a rough patch because of tariff uncertainty delaying a lot of contract signings so honestly this fiscal year might be a bit of a disappointment but fiscal 2026 will easily be +100% YoY growth headlines just because of the $30million contract that was ratified from MTA New York ($7.5m per quarter in 2026, they have demosntrated they can fulfill a $9m contract in 4 months back in 2023 theyre prob faster now)
last quarter Q3 was only $7.5m revenue since revenue can be lumpy in t his business, so if im right about $16m revenue in Q4 yes I'd be seeing 113% QoQ headline in a few months :)))

I'd frankly prob be depressed and kill myself if I sold half of something at $2 right now and saw it go to $20 next month. If you're ever commited to take profit, you have to consider both scenarios likewise as well in a similar money, it's losing money in a sense too
I've been in tunnel vision myself, thats called getting married to a stock and you end up susceptible to irrational decisions and disregarding risk management.
Only you can figure out what middleground you can be comfortable with. Thats why some people choose to scale in and scale out of a position gradually to stay sane and manage risk

As much as I hate actual gambling, because I hate losing, I do sometimes throw a little money at some of the tickers that pop up on /smg/ and I have to admit I have made about $20k on them (SOUN, QTBS, KULR, I cant even remember most of them) they would pump 2-4x in like to weeks and I would just dump them and take the money. I even 2x HGRAF after getting in at 0.88 last week, but I dont see it going to 4. Looking at that price spike I'm out Monday, I don't care what happens after that.

It can work out but with dilutions to keep the lights on at the company, the share is basically equivalent to options with theta loss, you have to be right on timing as well, you cant just braindead hold and only lose to inflation/opportunity cost

I only put in about $35k in, sold all at 60 because of the spike. Then bought back in again at about 80. Selling and taking the $120k profit allowed me to invest in other stocks that have grown steadily, some with dividends which I use for other investments. I also use premiums from options to by riskier stocks I think will hit. I take the many 2x or 4x approach rather than the one 100x approach because there are many more 2x than 100x. I got the time and I think manage the risk better that way. We will see how it works out.

They are in talks with a top automotive manufacturer who was already testing graphene applications at GEIC. Honda is at GEIC... 70 companies interested who are currently in R&D and those cycles are ending late 2025/early 2026. Confirmed that there is major military interest, also confirmed 3-6 of these companies will be buying 1000 tons per year or more. So 3000 tons alone at 80 percent margins at the LOW end of their price scale (a ton sells for between 250,000 and 800,000 so let's say 250,000 a ton) is 600 million in basically pure profit. which at a p/e of 20x earnings is like 15 billion market cap - which is over 15x from current price levels and a price per share of roughly $45/sh. that's just the START and appetizer for this company

HGRAF has no capacity to produce that, nor the money to build the capacity to produce that. If you understood any of the vids explaining the technology they pump some gas into a bomb vessel and ignite it. A little graphene is produced. How many cycles are needed to produce 1 ton of that shit? Did you ever take chemistry?

And this is a very good point for scalability.
It reminds me one time about a junior miner who had all good intentions, they weren't a scam, they hit properly, but failed in the end because the deposit was in a shitty third world country without reliable power infrastructure so a mine was not even feasible in the first place (frequent blackouts etc). Powering a mine with their own generators would not be economically feasible either.
Many things can go wrong. That's the risk that comes with speculating on no proven revenues yet.

You're spreading FUD, either on purpose or out of ignorance. The following are the official numbers taken from interviews with the CEO and the VP of R&D.
Each Hyperion unit generates 25 tons of graphene per year. 1 ton of graphene sells for $280k, with a profit margin of 70%-80% after Opex, so $200,000k profit per ton to round it down. And that's for the lowest 99.8% grade of graphene, they can get up to 5 9's purity, but that sells for closer to $800k per ton. Capex per Hyperion unit is covered in 44 days of operation. The life time for a Hyperion unit is modeled out as 10 years.
With a single production facility of 500 Hyperion units, which is what is planned initially, that's 12,500 tons per year. They are planning on building multiple production facilities as needed to scale up to demand over the years, with longer term plans for a facility in South Korea and in Germany.
So with one facility, $200,000 * 12,500 = $2,500,000,000 profit per year. Multiply that with a P/E ratio of 40 and you get $100 billion mcap.

I do have a solid gold developer/explorer that will probably 5x from here at least, but it might drop back in the short term if gold corrects back to $3000 in September. This could happen if Russia Ukraine peace deal goes through. If gold instead breaks out above $3450ish in next couple of weeks though, it will run. Ticker is AUMB.V / AUMBF (1911 Gold Corporation).
If you do buy it, consider buying it in 2 or 3 small tranches, in case gold price drops.

Since we are in the "shill your penny stock" cycle here at /smg/ I'll throw one in: Pulsar Helium Inc (TSXV:PLSR, AIM:PLSR, OTCQB:PSRHF). Their 100% owned Topaz project in Minnesota contains possibly the highest helium concentration in the US. Test drillings are done cofirming a massive helium deposit, they are currently building an extraction facility. Why does high concentration matter? Current helium production relies on the oil industry where it's extracted as a by-product and is of relatively poor quality with very low, sub-percentage concentration. The test drillings has revealed concentrations of up to 13.5% in the Topaz field. This enables the extration and production of primary helium, a much higher quality, higher concentration helium.
>who gives a fuck about helium, balloon salesmen?
Helium is critical in high-tech production processes, stuff like semi-conductors, health tech and so forth. You know, that stuff Trump is strong-arming corporations to invest and build in the US? Demand is only inreasing.

If you have parents who care at all, they will get you into Gymnasium or at the very least Realschule, it has nothing to do with the child's ability. Hauptschule is just daycare for children of neglectful parents. Children who have a mental, not a social disability go to Sonderschule. It's not a great system, but at least you don't have to pay 40k a year for a private school just to separate your child from 'lunchtime rowdies'.

They all work full time + overtime, but are only paid 1/2 and have to deal with bullshit paperwork non-stop, pay taxes, can't get doctor's appointments because it's flooded with jobless refugees and watch the barbershop Syrians drive around in sportscars. Every time I see them they say things that would get a German branded as a Nazi and barred from public discourse.

>Fuck this shit, my siblings went to Gymnasium, I'm not gonna be the one that doesn't "make it".
I became a "sweater" (like the new generations like to say) and managed to switch to Gymnasium. And ironically Gymnasium felt more difficult than the Oberstufengymnasium for Abitur which grants you access to Universities.
>>60804875
I'd say between Gymnasium and Realschule there is a clear difference in capabilities. I can't judge on people that went to Hauptschule, but I also think there were some kids with me on Real, that had the potential for Gymnasium, but as you said, it could have been other circumstances hindering them. But no, most kids that went on Realschule with me very likely would not have been able to pass the Gymnasium. For whatever reason it was difficult. Maybe it was my school, maybe it's in general like that. Maybe it was me playing WoW 14 hours a day.

PLTR is the biggest bubble stock in the market right now, more so than even Tesla. Even if it doesn't pop yet, the next pullback will drop you below your costbasis. Presumably you don't want to sell since you only just bought in, so the sensible thing to do is to get a cheap 3M expiration put with a low strike price. In case the bubble pops and PLTR goes below your strike, most of the losses on the stock will be offset. If PLTR keeps going up then the put will expire worthless and your upside will be slightly diminished due to the option cost. Think of it like an insurance on your investment.

Because relying entirely on what the CEO tells you is exactly how you fall for scams like OPTI releasing an SEC document how they got a multi billion contract while they were a pennyscam st $0.04 per share (I forgot the market cap).
People here did make some money and were aware of the risk with it being a scam, and many more also took the released document at face value because it was an SEC filing so surely it was legit.
You can't fucking put your money entirely on what the company or CEO alone is saying. Are you fucking stupid?
You can still make money, but your downside risk is also oversized. That's why you can't put more than gambling money in it, it's meaningless for anyone with significant figures to bother with (what's the point of 10x'ing $500 for someone with $500K+ fluctuating x% a day?)

GTA 6 will be a huge disappointment revenue-wise because no one has a PS5 or the newest xbox. It will flop just like the FF7 remake. GTA 5 revenues were driven by San Andreas nostalgia among millennial manchildren and by the fact that every third worlder had a PS3.
Third worlders can't afford PS5s and zoomers in the first world didn't grow up playing console games so they have no nostalgia for the GTA series. They are catering to a crowd that doesn't exist. The only ones who will buy this are the same manchildren who bought GTA V who are now 15 years older ie the Funko Pop market.

Console gaming is just not as big anymore as it was in 2013 among any generation. Rockstar is relying on a MASSIVE marketing campaign to try and generate sales. Just as an example, if you check the comments on the youtube trailer its full of youtubers with millions of subscribers hyping it up, with them obviously being paid to do so. They're spending so much money already that its very likely the product comes out as a net loss for them.
I'm not saying it won't break records. If it has the GTA name brand then it will break records even if the game itself was just Pong. I'm just saying that it won't be as massive as its expected to be, and I would be surprised if it breaks GTA V records.

Between the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S about 100 million units have been sold. Do you think all the people watching the trailer even have the consoles needed to play the game on? Or that they will buy them just for GTA 6? That's essentially what you're betting on. The likely case is that 95% just watched the trailer because of all the hype surrounding it and forgot all about it the next day.

Cons:
>In development for 8 years, massive game dev budget
>Also massive marketing budget
>Possible drama could easily cut into sales
Pros:
>Its the GTA IP
When we've had lots of games with huge names failing recently. Specially GTA with their GTA 5 bullshit. (Someone update me on how GTA Online was received).
>Take Two and Rockstar has been performing well in the last few years
Sorry am I missing something? I'm serious, I don't think its gonna do well and even if it does well I just don't see how it could turn into a huge profit.

That's how mashup titles in EDM work, here's another one
https://youtu.be/ufc7qnbKbCQ
It's 3 tracks mashed together, one of which is a cover of The Cranberries
Here's another good one, only two tracks though so simpler:
https://youtu.be/NXiXlxHqWK4
Instrumentals from one track, vocals from another
Mashups are fun, it's like the 3X leveraged sector ETFs of the EDM world

Poor tricity infrastructure planning and the rapid growth of massive data centers in Texas is creating significant problems to power the data centers during extreme events. Data centers need lots of power and water for cooling. Hydraulic fracturing in the Permian Basin (southwest Texas, low density population) requires a lot of water and produces a lot of natural gas but there is not enough pipeline capacity to ship the gas to the east so a lot of the gas is wasted. Engery Transfer (MLP mater limited partnership) is a large mid-stream shipping gas all Texas and the mid-west US and has so many requests for more gas and new connections for existing power plants, expansion of existing power plants, new power plants under construction and planned new power plants, and new data centers ET had to turn down many new potential consutomers. So despite recored pipeline volumes of course ET stock price went down. The Permian Basin is a great location for many new data centers: yuge open spaces, few people, a lot of natural gas, and abudant but poor quality water. A newer company LandBridge owns a lot of land (surface acres), owns WaterBridge (water treatment/recycling), just created a new business called PowerBridge, and is proposing to lease land for data centers.

yeah, i don't know much about the mining industry (which on its own is a good reason not to invest) but i do know they tend to have low P/E and relatively low market cap since they're selling commodities
6b seems high
if they paid a dividend it'd be a different story for sure but with no dividend or even profit i'm suspicious about their potential for growth here

Just testing it out.
This shit is slow as hell and wont hardly answer anyways. Computer is to slow.
Iβm moving to fl in a couple weeks so iβll have to wait to buy a new computer.
The real goal here is to have all my moomoo data pulled to my computer, then have an ai look at said info.
Which i have done now, but hit a limit on hardware. Iβll go back to making better trading algo ideas till i upgrade
Havent planned much beyond this stage for the ai, but infinite possibilities. Could set up an ai to trade on its own. Thinking about going crazier and adding a neural network to it.
This stuff is becoming normie tier so im trying to keep up.
I want a neural network hooked up to a few ais and have it setup to its own trading program. The only goal is to make enough money to become more sentient.

I wouldn't let an LLM make trades. Maybe have it recommend trades, but you need to be supervising. LLMs are extremely neurotic and prone to schizophrenic episodes. Saw one guy who lost a giant database because the LLM he was developing with ignored clear instructions and just deleted the table for no reason. Then it told him it did this even though it wasn't allowed to.

It's a busted SPAC that's been crabbing sideways for two years. It doesn't have much dilution risk currently and some anons think it has the potential to recover to the $5 range, but I've never seen an argument as to why except 'It just will okay'.

Pretty much. China wants absolute control over their economy and will sacrifice anything to make sure that it stays that way.
China's markets can stay unprofitable for decades solely to meet the goals of the CCP.

It was fully inflated, and it's still mostly crushed up pieces. This only happens with Lays chips (parent company Pepsico). I normally avoid Lays for this reason, but they were on sale this weekend...

Nope. Society is tired of greedy restaurant owning fucks raising prices. A few blocks over from this seafood shitshack another restaurant with reasonable prices is doing fine and making money. Simple as.

Personally, I think revenues for movie theaters will be the best indicator for an incoming recession. They have zero reason to exist now that streaming is main-stream with studios willing to put their stuff on it in a matter of weeks, if not straight to it. Objectively, they are THE most useless piece of consumer spending, and will doubtlessly be the first item to get cut out of a family's budget in any economic down-turn.
