Intel is like 1 generation behind AMD and Nvidia. Trump is such a fucking moron for doing this. Let Intel fail. I'm saying this as someone with a i9 14900k

Intel is not comparable to AMD and Nvidia. Intel is not just in the design business, they're also in the fab business.

we need domestic semiconductors and we need competition in the market
what is really going to happen, though, is that arm processors are going to take over the markets that Intel and AMD used to dominate and the end for Intel is inevitable.

Partial ownership of the memes of production. TBF this was already floated when the sovereign wealth fund thing came up.

I thought Intel was selling their foundry? Either way, I don't care. This is another dreadful mistake by Trump!

I thought free market was supposed to defeat state capitalism instead of turning into it. I don't like how people say
>but how can we compete with state run companies
when capitalism is built on the premise that state run companies are less efficient.
Anonymous (ID: JGlCw/wj) No.60820629
Germany did this too. The respective companies are giant shitheaps for investing. Sell everything.

>when capitalism is built on the premise that state run companies are less efficient.

yeah that is largely a retarded meme peddled by jews. i work in the health insurance industry so i see the scams that happen behind the scenes with respect to things like medicare. the fed government outsources all of the administration of medicare to private companies like my employer. we charge fees on fees on fees which support our inefficient and retarded business practices.

state capitalism is capitalism's ultimate form: a central government that emphasizes standardization and accountability, and directs capital investments toward projects that benefit the long-term growth rather than benefit quarterly earnings releases.

A depreciating asset is better than no asset. The current modus operandi of American state capitalism is to just give companies free money and hope that it eventually comes back in the form of taxes. That worked for a while but it clearly doesn't anymore.

Intel hitched their wagon to Microsoft. Microsoft likes money and moved on to the new thing. Happens every time.

Linux had a chance during the netbook boom. Microsoft held onto XP and shoehorned into on to low power chips.

Made a dollar and embraced low power generic chips.

Why would a politician ever favor long term , over short term rewards. Yes they "should" but why would they. The only gov ever to do this was FDR and he ruled like a king not a president. This should be a huge hint.

My yuropean country has public sectors like health care and education and they have often bigger burn out rates than private sector. Private sector always being more efficient is a meme. A public system can be planned to be very efficient and grueling where money is spread very evenly. While in a private system the money concentrates to a small group, who can then take it easy with all the money they have and disregard the large masses.

Parties have โ€party disciplineโ€ where politicians of a party are expected to vote along party lines. If a party always makes short term decicions, voters will take note of it and stop voting for that party.
