It doesn't matter what you achieved, if you won some competition, made something, built something, got accolades at work, worked hard your whole life for some accomplishment, none of that really matters to people. Sure, they may pretend to care, and society will convince you that these things are what truly matter, but they don't.
The only time i get a real, raw, truthful, involuntary reaction out of people is when I suggest to them that I may be rich. Then the whole atmosphere changes, probably because they understand that I never have to be a slave to the system like them.
So why should I work? For "personal satisfaction"? But what's the point in even doing that? I can get personal satisfaction without doing work.

No one cares about rich people either.

Turns out life is meaningless.

I’m a doctor and after i graduated and started getting doctor money the shift that happened in a year was crazy. People that had seen me as ”harmless” all my life clearly felt some jealousy towards me. I’m talking people like my brother, friends, hell even my parents started shit talking me a bit i think. I’m white tho so glorifying money and status is seen as pathetic and shallow, that might explain my parents. Also chicks just started to be with me instead of rejecting me with nothing changing in my behavior or looks. Clearly it’s just a biological thing, men start to be jealous and women want to be with you.

I had the same experience as you except I'm a lawyer. I was a nobody before. The wallflower in every social group. Mr. Forgettable.

But then I became a lawyer and the first thing I noticed was that girls started giving me attention for once in my life. It bumped me up like +2 points on a scale of 10. Also, the men either respected me more, or they became jealous/petty and would try to challenge me in front of others. Fags.

Anyways, the point is, I went from being invisible to actually having a life now. The "now my life can finally begin" meme was an actual reality for me kek

Now i’m social, somewhat good looking AND a doctor so i get legit 9s/10s.
