:OOOOOOOOOO
HODL FELLOW APES
TL;DR I think 2026 housing will boom hard. Excuse me but Iβll type a LOT and not care. UPDATE!!! Powell cut rates, mortgages falling, and home sales are already spiking.
The U.S. housing sector looked dead just weeks ago, but I believe Trump is setting up one of the biggest bull runs in modern housing history. The pattern feels exactly like crypto in 2023: prices stuck in place, insiders making quiet moves, and then β boom β liftoff. For housing, that translates into more supply, lower mortgage rates, and homebuilders going beast mode.
When crypto ripped, the playbook was clear: regulators were replaced, laws followed, and sentiment flipped. Gensler stepping down Bitcoin ETFs approved. Housing is tracing the same roadmap.
Legislation in motion:
H.R.1340 β More Homes on the Market Act raises capital gains exclusions, freeing up supply from βlocked-inβ sellers.
ROAD to Housing Act cuts building costs, boosts modular/manufactured housing, funds infrastructure, and expands affordable housing support.
The Fed chess match: On August 9, 2025, Trump added Stephen Miran β a Powell critic β to the Fedβs Board of Governors. But the real drama is Trumpβs battle with Adriana Kugler, the Fedβs first Latina governor. She was seen as a stabilizing voice with labor market expertise, and Trump has been pushing her out. Her potential exit cracks the door wide open for Trump loyalists. Itβs the same crypto-style play: replace the regulators, then flip the policy. With Kugler sidelined and Powell under fire, the Fed is tilting Trumpβs way β toward aggressive rate cuts that fuel housing.
If rates keep dropping while these bills pass, the setup is generational: cheaper mortgages + pro-housing policy + fresh supply = massive boom. Just like buying Bitcoin in 2023, grabbing housing-related stocks now might mean catching the exact bottom.
My favorites:
OPEN (a turnaround could mean $81/share from $5 if execution lands) PLD OPAD Z HD LGIH RKT

Can someone explain to me why only IDN has direct access to hidden non public security features and encrypted barcode data used by AAMVA/DMVs (drivers licenses)
like other companies like 1Kosmos and Veridas dont come close with their DMV checks.
IDN is only a $100m market cap, why does a public company have this power in their hands? and they have a big "social media" company that is not being disclosed just mentioned vaguely in their earnings (best guess is facebook given recent development), but even without this customer, they're expected to increase their prices (coz they're a monopoly basically?) and increase their EPS to $1
you might be asking why this company is going to start being relevant all of a sudden. theres an ai bubble but theyre not an ai company, why would you buy them? it's because ai fraud is on the rise, even without ai, you can still have pic related, and apparently one of the best ways to combat it is by proving you're a real person with your driver's license
you have to show your driver's license everywhere and online in more places soon
it sounds stupid considering what their financials look like right now, but there's enough ingredients happening around for them to hit $1 eps which would mean a $30 target
im still trying to understand what IDN is so im not adding to my position of 3000 shares just yet. I might increase it to 6000 shares if i can understand this company better

One of the few things propping up the housing market is that people dont want to/can't leave their pre-rate hike mortgage rates. Mortgage going from 4k/mo to 3.5k/mo won't matter to the average mutt living paycheck to paycheck and neck deep in CC debt

Itβs a free market. Shorts are not my enemies. The better question you couldβve posed is why would a company with world changing tech go public before establishing revenue? Why did no venture capital lock this up until it was up and running?

I dont know or care who those are.
Again, you can't really "short" pennyshit
All they're doing is borrowing/selling on margin at the current pumped price and buying after it collapses.
This won't cause le short squazozole and barely has any affect on price action.
Borrow fees and interest on pennyshit is usually insane, and finding retards that will buy your margin bags gets harder the more the price goes up.
Even with a pnd like this only a fool would even bother.

Yeah, he also tries to. You can see that with his question.
On the topic, he isn't really wrong. Trump has managed to force the Fed to start cutting with his policies. But not because inflation is down, but because employment is getting bad while inflation is going up. That's not really bullish. The 30y yield is still higher than after the PPI report. Bondmarket knows this cut is stupid, even more so when jobcreation currently has to also do with Layoffs by the government and AI (let's call it "reshuffling of jobs"). A cut does not have an impact on these two major reasons for jobmarket weakness. Why would I hire a human, when the bot can to do the job sufficiently, just because you lowered rates by 0,25%? You only just gave me a signal to start buying and hoarding stuff because you gave up on inflation.

EU is the longterm play, if the EU doesn't destroy itself economically if you take valuations into account.
Just get the capitalmarkets reform done, put some incentives for investing into place (like Americans have) (also the famous von der Leyen quote) and all EU indices do a 2x. And americans will seethe at the gains even though EU indices will then only be overpriced as theirs.

I don't think the EU has a long term future.
We are under attack from all sides.
China wants to dump their unused industrial production on us, either because of non-existent domestic demand or rerouting due to US tariffs, killing any last industries still active in Europe.
America wants us to buy their overpriced energy and weapons.
Russia will never sell us cheap energy again, and if they do it will have even more strings attached than the Americans do.
Qatar is still shipping in millions of immigrants in exchange for LNG supplies.
In the long term, we are becoming a continent of destitute consumers. Eventually we'll be too poor to matter even in that sense.

It is the only way for Europe, because this has been Europe's problem for decades, no own sufficient energy sources except Coal (if we exclude Oil from the UK and Norway)

I know, but it ensures more equal chances and opportunity.
So, what would you prefer? You can have the US model where companies rule you or the EU model. Wealth in the EU in general is still more evenly distributed compared to the US. And the wealth gap also widens quicker in the US compared to the EU.
If you want to get rich on the expense of others, you gotta move.

Actually, we don't. FOMC is 16-17th September. At least this time we get PPI (10th) prior to CPI (11th).

It seems to me that any sort of bets on rising wealth inequality are win-win unless you are already very wealthy. If wealth inequality continues to increase, your investment will lessen the blow, acting as a sort of hedge. If wealth inequality somehow decreases, your investment won't do well but you will be better off anyway so who cares.
Basically bet on the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer.

Solar materials are environmentally toxic and wind turbines are damaging to the environment and the wildlife. Nuclear is ironically cleaner than both. But no, we have to waste trillions on dead-end technologies that ruin the earth because of ((certain)) people. Each turbine is expensive to build and maintain, only has a certain service life, and are extremely difficult to safely deconstruct.

You're such a wolfie of the wallstreet bro. You're so smart for buying puts and it just not working out.
You're so smart for not figuring out that nobody gives a shit about the social contract anymore and that "The US" is just a corpse to feast on. Nobody cares how high inflation gets and how many people lost jobs. We all know inflation will balloon up, so we're going long. We know people will be starving on the streets and sucking dicks for food, but they work in restaurants or something and they're not part of a (growing) chip economy, so nobody gives a shit about those. They can buy fentanyl and die, the market doesn't care. I don't care - I'm an euro.
But I guess I'm dumb. I wish I was as smart as you.

I took some of my earnings and took a week long trip to Prague and bought a hooker while I was there. Never done it before. Payed for a bj that was probably overpriced, but it was my second to last day and I didn't have time to shop around.
Honestly one of the most sterile experiences of my life; I thought hiring a prostitute would be more exhilarating. I guess it was the pure transactional nature. She would barely even touch me outside of my pecker. Like suck on my balls, kiss my hips, and rub my thighs while you're sucking my cock stupid bitch. It took forever to cum. Is it always like this or did I just get a dud, or do you have to pay extra for more intimate 'gf experience'?

I was fully blackpilled about AI once I realized across all LLMs, across many different scenarios, a fiction writing prompt will tend to produce an MC called "Elena".
AI is still the smartphones of our era, but it's shit tech.

Can't tell because it's emergent or that companies and entities have stolen so much from each other that it produces too similar a result for any real progress to be made.

The ones in the western world are hideously stupid. I think there is a level of stupid where it is impossible to suffer, because they cannot fathom the concept.
I think a pajeet long ago made a wish for his people to become free of suffering, seeking to break the infinite cycle, and the genie who granted it was a massive asshole. Ever since then, they have been free of suffering, because they no longer perceive it enough to change it.

It's a fair point, however; if you're going to swing it, it needs to be on an exchange. If you're just hoarding it, then you'd keep it on a cold wallet. Ideally you'd store it across multiple accounts and exchanges.
Also, I like the etfs because then you can do options, and they also generally track the price accurately. There might also be some tax implications (eg you can't put bitcoin in a TFSA, but you can buy the etf in a TFSA)

I'm short and I don't care. I'll just dump more of my paychecks in until it inevitably dumps. Yes I haven't timed it properly but bear market is inevitable and I'm bound to make money, and if it goes up a little bit in the meantime I'll just make due with it and raise my cost average.
I've been short since Feb 2024 almost the whole time, but I bought the April low. I'm only down like 5k because I'm not overleveraged and the massive dumps we had along the way always got me back to breakeven territory. I expect the final top in September and if Powell cuts rates it will be a sell the news event.

Tesla is a good bet. It will hit 400 soon and probably all time highs eventually. You could also just buy a s&p or nasdaq etf. Everybody who's done this in history has made money unless you sold the dips

At least your walls are not made out of plastic, might as well, but aren't. Imagine the saying "balls to wall" in that case.

correct.
i would never touch a spanish stock. on top of that their options are extremelly non-liquid and all it takes to snuff out once again the investors money is more taxes and regulation from the commie state. ibex35 (spanish "equivalent" to sp500) still hasnt recovered from the 2008 crash when adjusted for inflation, country debt is soaring (and since many companies are mostly reliant on state contracts its just a matter of time everything burns to a crisp). Spain is bringing the ability for retirees to fucking work again and retirement age keeps going up. Pensions are CPI adjusted, so the boomers get more and more money and everyone else pays more and more taxes. Billions of euros literally disappear and the state just shrugs it off. Over 40 years the salaries have increased only 2.5% when corrected by inflation. nΒΊ1 place in youth unemployment in europe despite purposely manipulating unemployment numbers (there is literally a category called "discontinuous permanent employees" LMAO where they put all the people who worked recently so they dont count towards unemployment numbers). If only i knew the date when shit hits the fan to short everything touched by the spanish government.
