when you're NEET even your friends start to drift apart from you. my friends started voicing their concern about me not working after they got a job. now all they talk about is "self-improvement", criticizing me, and how having a job gives meaning to their life. it's all they talk about and they are hostile about me not being on the same page. at this point it's difficult to even have a conversation with them.

that happened to me in my 20s, but by my 30s now all of those same friends want to be a NEET now, some of them became neets after they got their inheritance

My sister started to cry because she wondered why I didn't have constant panic attacks about being a NEET and not investing money for my future
I told her I didn't really think about it but that I knew I was probably fucked but I stopped caring long ago
Now I'm working and I've started investing

If they are good friends they care and just don't want to see you suffer a great amount later when your ability to be a NEET stops. If they are fake friends they just want you to be a miserable wagie like them. Either way make sure you have a sustainable plan for the future.

>weekend comes
>time to hang with non neet frens
>they're all tired
>conversation revolves around some dumb shit at their job
It's not me, it's them.

Nice thumbnail bro
>friends
Never had any since high school. The ones I had there were basically study mates, we never really hanged out other than online gaming. My parents, siblings, and coworkers are the only social interaction I have.
>criticizing me
Wait until they start having kids, and then you feel how distant and judgemental they become. They are basically jealous about your temporary freedom.

yeah I mean working made sense in like the 90s when life was kinda fun but honestly these days neeting just makes way more sense

they just don't want you to fall through the cracks, it's easier than ever. you should be on the lookout for things you think you can tolerate. maybe remote?

Literally how hard is it to have a non-wage gig? Like, try to day trade or do market analysis and invest. Presto, you are no longer technically a real NEET.

started cutting working hours and told everyone my dream is to become a neet in the next 10 years. they all laughed now fast forward to now the very same people are beging higher ups to reduce their hours because they realized they cant keep doing that shit for another 30 years. everyone will sooner or later come around and realize that shit is not sustainable. its a difference between slaving for 5-10 years vs 30-40... a big one.

i literally cannot get a job, you apply to 100 places and get one interview then fail the vibe check. you have to be a normie to get a job
