It has diminishing returns at about 1-2K lines from what I’ve seen and it GG at 10K lines. But anything at that level is literally first year CS slop and not killer app material worth mentioning here. Will it improve? Absolutely. Can a skilled engineer use AI to bang out an impressive app in less time and headaches than using a fiver jeet? Totally. But don’t say any normie can bang out a killer app with AI slop, let’s at least be real about this. Will that eventually happen? Yeah, probably in about two years but honestly the AI progression is starting to curve so it wouldn’t surprise me if it takes longer and we see AI become more adapt at multi tasking, management, and increasing memory.
