ever since the peak interest rates after the ending of the gold standard, rates have basically trended to zero. within two years, i expect them to be below 2%. it's just how the system works

That 2 percent goal was a self imposed goal, there is no one above them who is making these rules, so why should they care? Nobody is going to hold anybody to account

He did the same thing last year dipshit and inflation was even worse. But he was cutting 50 bps. This time it'll be like 2 25 bps cuts then he's done. Don't tell anybody tho
