Could you early or semi-retire in these countries with less than $500k?

would it really be that bad in a gated upper class community there?

Well invested you can make 10% mostly passive so 50k a year. That's enough to retire anywhere in Europe with an upper middle class lifestyle.

It was a joke. Sea is better and you can easily retire with 500k there as you can live off 3% a year.

I retired early in the Philippines with 750k. I've been here for 1.5 years.

In that 1.5 years I slept with at least 100 different normal women, and fucked all of them without a condom and came inside of them. Bedroom talk consisted mostly of telling them I was going to get them pregnant, and them agreeing it was a fantastic idea and being completely on board with becoming a mother ASAP.

Sometimes they complained they were too young, but I told them I didn't care and was going to cum inside of them, and they coped by asking me if I would take care of the baby, to which I always said yes. From that point onward they were also totally into it.

On a few occasions the young women seemed surprised that I blew my load directly into their pussies, "Why did you cum inside me?!", to which I would simply answer "Because I am trying to get you pregnant." It was like a bolt of electricity shooting through their empty skulls. They just nodded and accepted that was what they were for. There may have been the occasional pout, but not once in my time there did I have a woman become legitimately upset or demand I use a condom, or pay for morning after pills, etc.

Then there was also the street girl that did anal who became a regular for me. It got to the point where I was buttfucking her almost every day for pocket change. After fucking I'd toss her an extra 500 pesos as long as she kept my cum in her ass and didn't fart it out into the toilet. She would text me after telling me she can still feel my cum and how it was making her horny again.

Using the 4% rule you'd have $20k per year to spend (before tax). That puts you in the top 10% of earners in many of these countries. So yes, you can retire with $500k

Selling covered calls on that $500k should net you $50k/year pretty reliably, after taxes in the USA that comes out to $46k/year. Set aside $10k of that to roll back into the account so it keeps up with USD inflation and you've got $36k/year.

$36k/year is $3k/month which is definitely doable in some of those countries. In Bangkok you can find a nice 1 bedroom or studio apartment for $1,200/mo, food is pretty cheap and shouldn't cost you more than $15/meal, if you eat food from the street vendors it costs like $3-4/meal.

Yep. I gave the $1,200 figure to be conservative but you can find places for cheaper if you don't mind living in a not so great place.

This is why I don't like this "third world" classification bullshit. Living in Bangkok/Buenos Aires vs Somalia/West Africa is a completely different comparison idk why you'd group them together.

You can retire with $200k in the USA and maintain an upper middle class lifestyle which is what I did. 3% return per month in crypto is $6000 a month and $72000 a year.

You can do that in first world countries as well, but you will be living in a hut and growing your own food and maybe hunting, so semi-retired, or living with roommates in a small town for full retirement.
You will not own a car either way. You will bike around and rely on public transit.
I used to ride an inter-city bus to work. I occasionally would see some boomer hauling groceries on a big box mounted on his bicycle like some third worlder. He would then put the bike and the groceries in the luggage space under the bus and ride the bus with us to the nearest station to his bumfuck small town and ride all the way back home. If you know to go dog mode like that and live frugally then it can work in first world countries.

Yes you can get a decent appartment in Morocco in Rabat or Casablanca for less than 200k$ in downtown, and there in those places it's not that different from anywhere else, except the hookers and restaurants are cheaper.
