I don’t understand this. I still live like a dog. In fact, my lease expired last year and instead of renewing I downgraded to a smaller and cheaper place despite making more money and am willing to do it again if I find another place cheap enough to justify the cost of moving. Only thing I won’t do is living with strangers but my rent is only 1/6 of my post tax income at the moment

The company im at is actually pretty good at internally hiring I think I could get promoted to 35-40/hr realistically by 5 years if I apply for a role that opens up or something
