Tari
I wonder what the driving use case can potentially be for smth like what tari aims to be. Monero with smart contracts. Either way they didnt build this to let it die right?

Wait till the next round of unlocks. A few guys that worked on this post here. Gay pony fucked us and fucked up. Great idea but it was rushed at the end and the unlocks/timing was stupid. I will enjoy watching this burn

When first talked about in 2018 or something it was supposed to be and do the ground work for future Monero sidechains. Then I guess they gave up on that. They may as well have launched it unfinished in 2021 when scams like this were hot. Maybe they got lots of VC funding then - the real scam. For now they've launched the L1 network that will have a future sidechain that will be the the actual usecase. So essentially it's in the same position it was seven years ago when the plan was a sidechain on Monero.

Buddy it’s a scam the whole company is a scam led by scammers fluffy literally stole from the last company he worked at and the other guy is a classic scam artist. Look at Yat, or any of the other 10 shitty things they tried to launch that failed. This was never going to be a real blockchain. The tech itself is years outdated since they took so long to launch it, so even if it wasn’t an outright scam it might as well be now. Look at the turnover at the company. Even the guy who was lead dev and basically built this piece of shit was gone before it launched. It’s over. And yea I got scammed on Yats years ago and thought maybe this would be redemption arc but at this point if you don’t realize what’s happening then you deserve to be poor.

this guy and glowiepony spoke about some of the shit that went down at Tari/Yat

Apparently they kept advertising features, then never dropped them, then tried to gaslight users with 'no ETA but not forgotten' for years
their internal handbook says to call their customers 'yat creators' because naveen the jeet doesnt want the people to remember they spent money on that crap

they also bragged about 20m+ in sales, grifted another half a milly with that 888 dude (actually wanted more but didnt sell out), then tried to drop support for yats to chase a fantasy nft trading game to grift partnership money lol
none of the vc money or the millions they stole from their clueless customers went into development. people were able to edit the payment addresses on sold nft yats
transferring non nft yats broke their whole page as well lmao

the company is literally owned by a jeet who spent all the VC money they got + revenue on nfts instead of on development
and fluffy who has been compromised by the feds after embezzling cookie money from his previous employer - cant make this shit up

the only reason they didnt get fucked legally for the yat shit is because they have feds working there at Tari
they got fluffy by the balls for embezzling, but couldnt compromise monero so they had him build a privacy chain spelled 'iRat' backwards - which merge mines with monero (i let you ponder the implications of that)

the people that work at tari are literally the people that were after snowden and set up the crypto tracking units at 3 letter agencies, so yeah, le epic privacy coin iRat

Whoever shilled this here before: fuck you.

Tari is the biggest loss ever experienced financially.

Red flag should have been "no price discussion :)" in the tg and literal brown names/facebook tier memes across all socials.

Fuck man I had the the largest amount of money I've ever left on there for more than a week. This never happened before Tari listed.

I like the iRat theory but he was arrested 3 years after Tari was announced. He could have been a rat before then though.

When searching for Tari's first announcement I found out this video game character was created only 3 months later. Hmm...

I think he always meant to grift with a coin while using his monero affinity card to bait people.
It would have probably been just like yats - promise shit, get VC money, never deliver anything useful.
The name was probably meant as an edgy joke at first, people were already whispering about him working with the feds back then.
(No idea if he was already working with the feds back then, but the feds were watching him due to his monero affinity, and they had him by the balls after the whole cookie money embezzling situation.)

Then he got busted for embezzling the cookie money, but nothing came out of it because the feds saw it as an opening into infiltrating team Tari and team Yat (it's basically the same company with the same people).
iRat was a self fulfilling prophecy kek

The whole company is glowing, the people who work there were directly involved with gov level crypto tracking initiatives. The people there are the people that were hunting Snowden. "iRat" is not a privacy coin...

I chuckled when fattyfuck was dunking on chainalysis in public while their feds were educating mods and employees on how to track crypto.

I will say that Tari has seemed to play a role in this qubic attack on Monero. I don't think it's a coincidence that it's happening after Tari launched with it's merge mining of XMR. It could have just been inspiration or, given the glowniggers involved with Tari, it could have been part of a strategy.
