This whale probably was piling up high leveraged shorts on the other hand and made x100 more liquiditing longs than the 3% saturation loss. After a certain amount of wealth, you can't lose anymore, all the cards are stacked to your advantage. That's like playing poker but you get to chose which cards to draw next.
