Yeah but that's nothing new, we all know the economy is down the shitter, and have been for a while. Finance being the destruction of the productive economy, it's not like shitcoins & nasd-ack cared about the economy. It didn't abruptly degrade further all at once 5 days ago. What goes up must come down. The entire space is so ridiculously overvalued and has been for a decade. No one uses crypto for anything except speculation, and yet it has trillions in market cap. Come on. It's a miracle it has lasted even this long, propped up only by the most clown world circumstances one after another, such as a shitcoin-founder being elected to the most powerful person on the planet.

the thing is though, money printing and low interest rates will keep it inflated forever. btc is actually a resource with a fixed quantity. we can even mine more gold eventually even from asteroids probably to unlock trillions of dollars of gold. that's not possible with btc. granted btc is totally arbitrary and an ultimately meaningless store of value. really land is one of the only things that has any true value, but it's taxed to hell and you don't even really own it after you purchase it.
