Guys, did you see this? The US now owns 10% of Intel. Yeah, the government literally just became one of the biggest shareholders.
Intel is no longer just a boring chip company ,this is starting to look like the next gme but in tech, maybe even the next Nvidia.

The stock is still cheap compared to its potential. With the US backing it, investors are getting confidence that Intel will dominate AI chips, servers, and data centers. People are sleeping on it now, but the hype is real.

Like I said above, it was the string of white CEOs starting about 20 years ago, who were glorified salesmen/strong handshake look in the eye chaps who did that by handing the tech over to Taiwan for almost nothing. But the past is the past and the low price is now an opportunity as far as im concerned.

Intel does have some things going for it, but the government converting "free money under the CHIPS act" into "a 10% equity buy at a discount, complete with voting rights" and also now implying that "the government will have a say in how the business is run that might not align with what the shareholders want" does not necessarily mean this is a moonshot. Still it could maybe be good as a defensive play in a market downturn. Intel is probably too big to fail.
