Why can't anyone explain to me why there's no love for alts anymore?!?!?!??
Pardon me while I go spit up in pillow squealing mewing crying barking and punching the air in absolute despair about the fate of alts. It hurts my feelings extremely fucking bad bros, I'm about to bawl an entire river full of tears.

A lot of losers have been holding some alts for 5 years and are still in the red. Orange man promised they would get tired of winning. But the bullrun is about to end, 5 years have passed and they keep losing.

BTC couldn't even do a x2 from the previous ATH. They tamed crypto. You might aswell hold palantir and get more gains. Peter Thiel will not disappoint

there's been multi-cycle bitcoin maxi's on social media telling people to buy the bitcoin ETF's instead of buying bitcoin the normal way
i think part of the reason they did that is because they know if people are buying ETF bitcoin instead of BITCOIN directly on exchanges, they wont ever be tempted to trade it for shitcoins, ETF's path means people dont even see the shitcoins
strategy/blackrock/greyscale and whoever else buy on their behalf now

People realize altcoins are scams and only BTC matters, but BTC is saturated and probably will only do a 1.5x from now on every cycle. So there is no use in taking the risk to invest in crypto.

Normies now invest in startups

Bitcoin dominance has been in the steepest downtrend it's been in since the cycle began with no signs of slowing down. Doesn't mean the shit you've been bagholding since 2021 is going to go anywhere though. Just the shit people with money like

Because shitcoin creators are less scammers than alt coin creators. No one needs 2/3 of the fucking supply

Man, just buy and hold ETH. Even at this point it will way outperform a basket of shitcoins

I gave up years ago and enjoying life without โ€œmaking itโ€. You need to fix your mindset because money isnโ€™t going to cure your unhappiness

Why would it require an explanation? When you are a scammer, you keep the formula, but you got to change the optics from times to times, otherwise normies wake up to the scheme.

With shitcoins you didn't bother changing the optics for nearly a decade. So it's no surprise nobody is interested in *just* getting rugpulled out of their savings.
See NFTs? That was a well done optics transition away from altcoins while still only being a scam. You need to do that again.

The bullrun was frontrunned by a year. 2023 to 2024 alts generally mooned. But the etf and institutions kept Bitcoin high and later pumped Ethereum which in turn kept alts somewhat high. But naturally this would be the bear market year.

Its mostly Ethereum gaining not small alts

Too many lost money in 2021 and wont come back its that easy. 2017 barely anyone was in. But at the peak of the alt season last december the lat cap was almost at its 2021 peak so really a lot of retail was still in

Instead of building a product normies invaded and made memecoins, plus VCs are just operating in traditional markets now so there's no marketing

Coin I am holding keeps building a ton of new features but the price isn't going anywhere.
Every new release people hype up and post 10x chart prediction.

Think of the anons burned by crap like Neo, Req, or DeepBrainChain. Hell, Bizonacci unironically killed himself for backing Ambrosius. Now multiply that by the thousands (tens of thousands?) of shitcoins that just steadily limp their way into worthlessness over years and years. People bitch about Chainlink's bad performance but it's honestly a miracle that /biz/ managed to pick a coin that didn't just shit itself to death.
