stop losses are dumb

have a set plan to sell into strength and trim your position, dont wait for it to go down to trim like wtf?
you're letting greed get to you because you hope it keeps going up thats why you do a stop loss, when really you should be trimming right away because the portfolio allocation is getting overweight as it goes up obviously and you should already have a concrete exit strategy in place on when to sell

like maybe you can at least take your cost basis + some profits out and let the rest ride vaguely, but the exit strategy to get that cost basis out should be clear and firm or you're just letting greed cloud your decisions

These companies should be 100% government owned to begin with. Or else you just get shit like Boeing where you are still spending hundreds of billions to keep them afloat and the CEO replaces all the American workers with Indians to the point they are a zombie company that only exists to siphon off public money.

Why can't the government be in the business of making plans and tanks and make sure the employees are compensated fairly, and American citizens benefit? Why do we need an extra parasitic layer to profit off this transaction when the government could be saving those tax dollars or giving them to middle class families instead of pajeets visa scammers.

The reason Slav engineering is so shit is because the government owned everything. Politics would constantly creep into every little thing and completely fuck-up designs in ways that would be unimaginable in western countries. Juts look into the procurement process of Soviet APC's as an example of what I mean, it was a nightmare. Most of the problems with the current American MIC is government over-involvement, and full ownership would make it ten times worse.

it's because people cant even buy the equity lmao so you got no liquidity

HGRAF had to move to Austin Texas because they could not find anyone to supply acetylene at their current location. The soon to be new Austin location is specially located so they can receive shipments of acetylene, a very rare gas. Even though the future Austin location is in a common business park, the CEO used to sell sex toys, has crazy eyes, and two old guys say its the best growth stock they have ever seen in 40 years. FCX up 3.99%, cost basis of $800 but it's at 831. I got rugpulled by a "copper tariff " but raw copper, the primary import category of copper, not being on that tariff. It'll recover to June numbers though (pre tariff announcement) so I'll be fine

METC however is popping. Up 16.7%, put in like $200 but i sold 50 yesterday to actually realize some gains.

I asked AI Slop about "acetylene", if it can be shipped on a liquid tanker or a gas carrier, if it's considered an IMO I cargo, if it needs stainless steel tanks and so on.

Instead, the AI Slop told me none of those things are necessary because acetylene is shipped in gas cylinders that are stacked upright in a good old container box and then shipped on regular containerships.
So you can just move these anywhere in the world with extreme ease since they are containerized.

The supreme Court will say the same protection that apply to Powell will apply to her
Powell isn't special, hes just the governor who also has to do the PR on the data, he is just another governor. They will side she is as immune as Powell

I've seen a few legal experts say it would likely go down to that "for cause" means a legal, provable cause, something that the person would had to have been convicted of.
Simply accusing Cook for mortgage fraud would not pass those standards. Even arresting and indicting her on it wouldn't. It would have to be proven in court.
The alternative is that "cause" means "whatever the fuck the president wants it to be", which at that point the text means nothing and should have just said "can be removed by the president at his pleasure" instead of "only for cause."
