Almost crashed out at work today.

Choose to invoke passion on an old roastie wageslave instead, whom claimed her bills were more important, so she was worried about losing her job.

I told her I couldn't care less if I got fired. This caused some kind of chain reaction in her neurochemicals that made her get defensive and somehow take my statement as something personal.

I shrugged my shoulders and walked away, as I am not the roastie whisperer.

I told my manager 2 years ago to fire me if he didn't like the way I ran my job (to his face). He said he didn't want to do that.

2 years later, that manager has been neutered and rarely interacts with anybody, including other managers. Now the manager above him has gotten more into having "talks" with the employees.

Told him if he doesn't like me spending time cleaning up after other people, he should hire a janitor to clean the boogers off the walls, shit off the floor and food off the floor. I also said this to the CEO with 3 other managers in the room.

The CEO said it was too expensive to hire a janitor to clean every day and that he can't control other people's actions. I told him no, but you could at least clean the shit off the walls.
